So the wording on Improved Potential sounds a bit weird.

Quote
This power allows an adept to raise one of your inherent limits (Physical, Mental, or Social), specified when you buy the power, by 1. You may buy this power multiple times, once per inherent limit.

So can you only buy it once per limit? Or can you buy it at multiple ranks for a single limit?

Say, I have a physical limit of 6. Can I buy Improved Potential (Physical) at 2 ranks and have a physical limit of 8 now? Or can I only buy it at one rank, and then I have to buy it for another limit?

Once per inherent limit.

So you could take one rank for physical limit, mental limit, and socia.

I'm not sure about it. As the cost indicates:
0.5 PP per Level

IMHO it is multi level and multiple times for each limit separetly. So the limit would be your MAG as it is limit for levels of adept powers ;)

Meh, editing errors exist. The text is leading, and it specifically says you can only take it once per limit.

Ok, might be. But how possiblly would you wright it down so it would allow multiple levels per multiple limits? Think about Indominable quality. There are like 5 lines of text that sais especially each possible example of using it. That is up to rtg3 to any 3 limits,... And there are some Qualitis that are for multiple usage, or not, i.e. Adiction [for plenty of combinations] and Exceptional Aribute [that is only for one attribute].

Ok, so lets compare it to Improved [physical] Attribute. Practically same thing, does it have the "Once per inherent limit" clausule?

"Might be" isn't really accurate.  When you look at Improved Potential, it specifically states that "You may buy this power multiple times, once per inherent limit."  Comparing it to Improved Attribute is pointless, since they are two separate things.  Also, I'd point out that Improved [Physical] Attribute says this: "This power allows you to increase a physical attribute (Body, Agility, Reaction, and Strength)."  You pick one Attribute, and you increase it.  Simple as that.  It's like you're purposefully making this into an issue by ignoring the context of the book.

Improved Potential (Limit)

There are 3 versions of this power:

Improved Potential (Physical)
Improved Potential (Mental)
Improved Potential (Social)

Non of the three versions of this power let you increase your Limit by 1 per Level. They just increase your Limit by 1 (no matter how many levels you take). Improved Potential (Physical) Level 1 cost 0.5 power points and increase Physical Limit by 1. If you could get Improved Potential (Physical) Level 2 it would cost 1.0 power points but still only increase Physical Limit by 1.

You can purchase it once per Limit.  It's phrased awkwardly, but still pretty clearly, IMO.

Each level of the power increases one limit until you have all three leveled. Pretty simple really.
Concepts are great, but implementation sucks. Why not improve it?
