I'm curious if any particular iconography they use is discussed anywhere, or if their stylings are mostly just evolutions from early 21st century white supremacist whackjobs?  I'm working on a character who comes from a background steeped in that, and has a tattoo (possibly a Qi Focus tattoo, to make it a non-trivial thing to get rid of) that works some of that imagery in.  Possibly subtle enough that she can pass it off as not having realized the connection when she got the tattoo, but if someone also discovered that her Humanis dues are still paid up*...

"They are well known for wearing white robes with pointed hoods, similar to the garb of the Ku Klux Klan, sporting the Humanis logo: a round human ear (metahuman ears are more or less pointy). " - http://shadowrun.wikia.com/

There's always one PC who just can't go with the flow.  They have to have something that sets them apart.  Something blatantly obvious to everyone who plays with them.

That'll teach me for looking at the Alamos 20k article instead.

Anything in more depth than the wiki goes into, though?  Threats only mentions Humanis in tangency with Alamos and Human Nation, and the wiki on Alamos is almost a restatement of the Threats article.  The nuclear swastika graphic seems pretty iconic, tho.

Humanis is more or less a political party.... (think Golden Dawn in Greece.. and other Extreme right wing parties)... but they focus on trying to keep NA for humans and keeping the awakened and meta-humans down.... Sure there are some leg breakers that tromp around smashing in skulls, but Humanis is usually quick to distance themselves from such people (while paying their legal fees through shell companies and donations). They see politics as they way to achieve a "pure" North America....

Human Nation and Alamos 20k are the opposite end of the spectrum. Napalming meta human neighbourhoods, barb wire hangings, Sterilizations through "free" clinics, poisonings are all their trade marks. (and in Alamos 20k's MO, leaving poorly spelled  AROs and manifestos to the news corps)

Sadly, I can't think of any icons that they really use, sorry :(

Others may have more info on that if you wait some time for them to dig it up.
Where am I going? And why am I in a hand basket ???

SRM 04-00 features some fairly hard-core Humanis types among the opposition. A small node (think rating 1-2 host in 5E terms) featured explicitly WWII Nazi Germany iconography, while the accompanying mages were from the Norse tradition. This particular group mixed both hatred of metahumanity with traditional racism. While not all Humanis / Alamos 20K types are going to come from that "Aryan" strain of interracial hatred, there will definitely be a few out there, along with sub-groups from other ethnocentric traditions. (Playing them against each other is a potential tactic for runners facing them, of course.)
