@Patch

Earl, tubing in hand, gets hit on the right leg from your shot and gets electrocuted. He definitely feels it, as you see him lose his balance and drop to the ground. The second person, coming around from your first attack, makes the decision that the attack is not worth the hassle and starts running in the opposite direction. Earl, on the other hand, is on the ground moaning, the metal tube having fallen next to him.

Alexander approaches Earl slowing keeping a close eye on him as he moans with his Taser ready in case he decides to pull anything. As he arrives next to Earl he kicks the tubing away.Well that went better than expected. I wonder what that was all about Curious about the attack he decides to question his 'patient' before seeing to any wound he may have.
Now was this really necessary Earl, I mean really if your that desperate... he deliberately pauses to let the words sink in.

"I'm sorry doc, I won't do it again, I swear. Please don't hurt me" says Earl as you approach him. The man is on his knees, looking down at the pavement as he speaks to you. You can still hear the faintest echo of the second person running away, but besides that the streets are pretty quiet (relatively speaking). It isn't the first time someone has tried to rob you, and usually they do it in a more subtle manner, but you know it won't be the last time. They usually try to target your medicine, but this is definitely one of the more extreme cases of someone trying to get something from you. You are well respected in the neighbourhood for providing care to the people and therefore have some sort of leeway, but addicts and desperate souls don't usually follow that rule.

Nevertheless, you find Earl begging at your feet, asking for you to let him go.

Earl's pleas were nothing new to Alexander he was the same as any druggie or other desperate low life, the point ahs been made and there was no need to pres it any further tonight. He was tired already and he already had one stiff in the freezer preying on his mind he didn't need another.Just get outta here Earl, I've had enough for one night and so have you...I hope the run goes better than the rest of this night ahs turned out. With this last though he watches as Earl runs away to find his friend before heading back upstairs and getting some sleep.

It was Early when Hannibal arrived at the back door, banging loudly on the shuttered gate. Alexander had locked it more than usual after the attack in the night, so Hannibal's keys wouldn't would. waking at the noise Alexander threw on some damp cloths lying in the corner before letting him in and showing him to the stiff in the freezer.
As the shutter opens up he can clearly see Hannibal is rather annoyed as the imposition, forcing a somewhat laboured apology from Alexander
Sorry about the gate, some junkie tried to have the place last night as you might be able to tell by the hole in the wall.
Pulling the body out of the freezer Hannibal wastes no time in throwing it over his shoulder, no trouble for the hulking Ork he was.
Nice and fresh, no ID. As per usual around here.
Same agreement as always you get it gone and keep / do what you like.

Hannibal leaves quickly and without so much as a word, he didn't like being left out in the cold almost as much as he hated waiting and their relationship was more one of mutual benefit than anything friendly per say, it was a convenience that Alexander had become sometime too accustomed to.

Having dealt with the unsavoriness of last night and yesterday and nursing a mild hangover he headed over o the kitchen to rustle up some soy caff before setting to work and see what info he could muster now he had some real gear to hand.

You wake up to a windy/semi-cloudy morning in Seattle. The headlines on the trid are more of the same: "Yet another attack last night! Experts are saying some para critter is terrorizing Seattlites. This time, the victim survived but is in an artificial coma. He is still considered to be in a critical state, but stable for now. What is worrying authorities is that the victims don't seem to have anything in common and the attacks are done at random places."

"In other news, Southern Nutrition, the CAS's biggest soy/krill provider, saw its buyout approved by authorities, as had been expected by analysts. Silver Icon, the group behind the buyout, says it will work with the current management to optimize productivity."

Magpie was up bright and early in the morning, sitting in a nearby park and exchanging messages on his commlink with his 10 year old daughter. She seemed far more comfortable with it than he did, and the Shaman once again resolved he would try to become more tech-savvy simply so that he could bond with the girl better.

The news of paranormal creatures attacking Seattlites did not suprise him much. It was a consequence of encroaching on the territory of the beasts. He felt sad that people had paid for their folly with their life, but that was just the way the world worked.

After a short time on his commlink, Magpie sent a message to the others in his team.

Hoi wats the plan chummers?

Kinkou desperately groped around for the elusive commlink as it vibrated its way across the bedroom floor waking her from her all-too-short slumber.
Snoozing the alarm for five minutes, she finally resolved to get up and make herself feel at least mostly human. She pinged the soyprocessor and caf-maker to make a start on breakfast while she showered, cursing at the intermittent hot water, scalding and then freezing her body in equal measure.
Shoving some pseudo-eggs down her throat in a hurry, she grabs the coffee and heads downstairs to the parking bay, the cloying smell of damp pervading through the stairways and out into the half-lit cavernous space.
The roar of the engine reverberated loudly in the enclosed space and kinkou always gunned it hard, the sound of the roaring V6 and squealing of rubber on tarmac was just too good to pass up; fuck the neighbours.

"On my way, on my way..." Magpie muttered to himself, then remembered they were to be meeting at the Doctors surgery at 0800. Luckily he was an early bird (excuse the pun), so had plenty of time to walk there without being too late. "I really need to get myself a car."

Kinkou pulled up to the clinic a little late thanks to the morning rush hour. She parked up her bike, slaving it's sensor feed to her image link. She didn't particularly like the look of the neighbourhood and didnt want to trust her baby to the streets.
Checking the time on her commlink, she rapped on the heavy set door.

Hearing the rap of the heavy shutters at the front of the clinic while he was enjoying his soy caf Alexander head over to see who it was that had arrived first, Well i suppose I should get used to these early morning and late nights if i'm gonna get back into the game.

As he rolls up the shutter on the front door and sees kinkou waiting for him with her bike in tow he open the door.
Morning, Kinkou wasn't it.

Look like your the first to arrive. there's room in the back for you keep the bike off the street.
I know full well this isn't the best neighborhood.

He nods his head over towards the fresh crater in the clinics wall from where the shells had landed last night.
It seems someone thought I was a push over.

There a pot of soy kaf in the 'kitchen'
help yourself.

Magpie was not too far behind, considering he walked. The consequence of healthy living (or a bad case of insomnia, perhaps). He turned up and knocked on the door wild eyed, and even wilder haired. Considering he was a man dressed in feathers and skulls, perhaps this was not too unusual a look for the Shaman.

Seeing feathers through the reinforced Plexiglas of the front of the clinic Alexander went to let him in,
Damn, those shamen type are a special kind of weird, but a mana spinner is always a boost to the group.

Opening the door as he arrives, Alexander greets him with a smile and tries not to laugh at the wild hair.
There's a fresh pot of soy kaf in the back along with kinkou and her bike,
there a mirror back there too feathers
He can't help but smirk and let a muffled laugh at this point the cliche'd shamic look was too comical for him,
Guess we're just waiting for the shark now.

As Alexander followed feathers to the area he called a kitchen he sat at the table, and picked up his own mug of the filthy caffeinated liquid.
You know what however cliche his image is that's the best laugh I've had in years. I wonder if there's any more to these guys than their faces? choosing to indulge his curios thoughts he presses the question off the tip of his tongue.
So then chummers been running the shadows long?

Magpie leaned back in his chair with a smirk of his own on his face and brushed a stray bit of hair out of his face. Despite the odd -cliche, even- sense of smile, he was not a bad looking man and in his eyes was a light. It would be far to kind to call it a spark of intelligence, but of cunning perhaps.

"I been running the streets ever since I came to Seattle, chummer. Small jobs, like. Drug deals. Petty theft. Y'know, standard far streetrat stuff. Now, the magic that's a more recent thing. Raven must'a liked somethin' about me. Guessin' it weren't my integrity, but I was a survivor at least. I've been doing the odd bit of mojo-work, learning my tradecraft since then. Year or so now, I guess."

Only a year or so, damn greenie your making me feel old here.

Whilst I've not exactly been a 'runner' for that long only the last three years or so, I've been around the shadows for longer than I care to admit.
I started out a street doc and a chance encounter with a good frie..
as he begins to spill the beans of his past he remembers his friend and the all the horrors witnessed, a tear starts to form in the corner of his eye as he chokes on his words before slowly dropping to the table.
Pausing for a moment and taking a deep breath he composes himself before continuing to speak.
Anyway i ended up running this crew out in Jungle and less you know about that god awful hell hole the better.

Shit, you ok? Thanks man, you want a cup pouring?
Kinkou takes note of the missing masonry and doubles back to grab her bike, storing it safely in the back room before grabbing the soycaf.
Sensing a lull in the conversation on their history, Kinkou jumped in.
Been a year or so since my first "run". I grew up in the barrens so met all the wrong kind of people from an early age. Been doing a bit of B&E, tailing, data capture for blackmail. you know, the usual
She smiled a hearty smile, glad for the warmth of the soycaf. The clinic was by no means warm and the weak morning sunlight was yet to leave its mark on the temperatures.
It had been a cold ride over in traffic, she just hoped it would be a productive day.
So, we skipped by the parlour last night and got a recording from the bike's sensors.
<<To:team//<<Media File attached>>//
Not a huge amount to see to be honest, it seems well covered with security and it's in a swanky neighbourhood so we'll have to go in well dressed and with the right docs.
There is no graveyard onsite, so we were thinking they'll have to move on by cortège to burial/cremation elsewhere. Anyway, take a look, let me know what you think.
