Thvor, the blandness quality is a social situation thing, it wouldn't keep you from being recorded, though it might keep you from ever being the center of a shot.  You should consider some kind of change for Torley's look, though you can keep it subdued and still different.

If I recall correctly, blandness makes you difficult to describe by people.  What they describe can match about 50% of the male population.  But I don't think it will defeat facial recognition software.  I'm not sure what adept powers you have, but some can help you alter your look without having to resort to make-up and such.

I guess the face could be either. We can just assume that the rest of the body makes certain that this is a woman's face.  But it does sort of get the picture across of the pale glitterskin and bone white hair,

That was about what I was picturing when I suggested it.  I figured high end you would look like the White Queen from Lion Witch and Wardrobe.

Just looked on line.  They kept her hair brown, so that is not a good example.  Bummer.  So I may have a good picture and we will just have to agree that it is a woman.

Yes, you won't find any of the name stuff from the books, but you can figure out how nice the looks are based on how much you spend.  Armored would just be the base price in the books, 500.

So, since our Johnson hasn't made an appearance yet, Sam's going to be looking for people who are slightly higher than our group on the social scale, but who appear to be on their way up--those who are getting more attention/respect from their peers than one would expect based on their pito rankings, especially.
