Snow will nod and give Sam an amazing smile before she bends over at the waist to examine the lock.  "If this is wireless, I should be able to hack it to create a user account in the system.  Let me see."  She begins to hum a little tune as she works her 'link's programs.  She will stand up and move to the sit against the wall near the door.  She will look up at Sam and say "We should have time here, right?  I will be going slow in case the place has security and will be in VR, so please watch out for me."  She will begin to probe the lock, looking for its weaknesses, its chinks in the security.  The lock might be a simple device, but it might be part of a larger security system that would not appreciate her intrusion and subordination of its device.  Probing gives her the best chance to slip in unnoticed.  If she makes it in she will log on to her user account, which should be all she needs to manipulate the lock to tell her when it is accessed.

Seeing that their gear was safe and sound was a big relief for Clem. She double-checked all her things, making sure everything was in order and working properly. She said "I like where your head's at" to Torley before turning to Ophelia and asking her "Any chance you might get a blueprint of the place? I would like to know where we are vulnerable before any possible attackers do."

The ork looked at O'Connor and squinted. "Remember we're not back in Seattle here, we don't know how serious KE or Lone Star or anybody else with the contract here takes this studio. We have to keep collateral damage to a minimum, so keep it short and focused." She had hoped O'Connor had understood what she had meant by that, so she let him be.

She finally addressed Sammy and asked her "Is there anything you can tell me about the spirit world around here?" She hadn't meant for her question to be so vague, but that was the extent of her knowledge on those matters. She knew there was something the ex-starlet could do to prepare the team in the event of an attack, so she let her figure that one out.

Snow will nod at Clem and get to it as the hacking program does not require her entire concentration.  She will send out feelers to see if she can get a set of the blueprints.  As a minimum she will upload the emergency exit floor plan.  "I have the floor plan they use for emergency exits.  It should do as a start while I continue looking for the blueprints.  Uploading it to everyone....now"  She goes back to working on her two projects.

There is a signal dampening quality to the walls of the room.  Nothing that Snow can't overcome with her gear, but normal comm traffic is blocked inside the room, something relatively noticeable to all of you since you are very conscious of the unusual comm traffic you are subject to with the Pito system and running in Active Mode.  The room's node is easily overcome, though there is little to it but temperature and humidity controls for the room that are openly accessible AR and the lock.  The outer building's node is defended by security hackers who, after a bit of a conference, incorporate Snow into their system and provide what maps she seeks.

The cases in the room contain the familiar armor with katanas, the team's contraband, and four additional containing:

1.  macuahuitls and an obsidian knife
2.  Thunderstruck Gauss Rifle
3.  4 sets of 6 shuriken
4.  A riot shield with the Red Samurai logo

O'Connor nodded to Clem, "Right. No full-auto, and no shooting up the client's stuff." He slapped a mag into the M23 and pulled back on the charging handle, loading a round into the chamber. He slung the rifle over his shoulder and waited for the plan to start coming together.

Snow will download the maps from the security team.  <Thank you very much.  It appears that we are cut off communications wise from the outside.  Will you be my point of access?>  "Clem, the blueprints are uploading to you now.  Do you have a place you want me to stay?"  Snow will load a magazine into her Predator and work the slide, chambering a round before placing the gun in its holster.

She will continue to monitor the security channels for the two nodes without trying to make a pest of herself and getting dumped.  She will send a signal to the other 'links in her system to make sure that all are functioning properly and trying to anticipate the logical attack point so as to be ready to keep the team net operational.  *Damn.  I really need some better software, and this firewall could use an upgrade.  Heh, almost everything about this system could use an upgrade.*

Clementine said a simple "Thanks, Snow" before taking a look at the blueprints Ophelia sent her. She tried to find any chokepoints or any other areas where an infiltrating team could possibly want to strike.

I guess I'll just roll a knowledge check and let Crossbow tell us what she figures out from the plan. It seems invisible castle is down, but I wanted to roll Clem's Security Design (4) knowledge roll, which would be 7 dice.

For Sammy, this was a trip down memory lane.  She had been here before, so she knew how to act around a studio.  Nothing much had changed actually and while she hadn't been in this particular studio, they looked sufficiently alike for her to quickly find her way.

"Every studio has a couple of mages," Sammy said to Clem, "Mostly to do the special effects, but they can also do a little bit of defense.  So expect some spirits roaming around as security, mages who can lob a stunbolt or two and whatever security they assign to high profile stars.  Oh, and those special effects mages are often very good with illusions.  Like I did at that warehouse, the extra guys who suddenly burst in shooting.  If the crap hits the fan, things like that can happen.  Astral space here is fairly normal, as long as we don't go out in the lagunes or in El Infierno."

Snow will smile when she is given the access to an account.  <Thank you. I will not be a problem.  Could I ask to be informed if there are any odd happenings or breaches into the studio?>  She will continuously monitor not only the links to her team net, but what she can look at on the node.  She is not going to dig where she should not, but she is trying to get to see how far she can get with her access account.

Sam blinked as he remembered something, then glanced at where Snow was reclined against the wall, closed off to the real world. He swore softly. Glancing at the rest of the group, he decided to send them a message over the tachnet, which he hoped Snow had properly sealed off by now. Guys, I may be wrong about this--I hope I am--but we may not be alone in here. I didn't think much of it at first, but when I looked around earlier, I saw a gray spider. Except, thinking back on it, it seemed too...shiny. I'm going to take another look, see if I can find it. Keep talking casually; if someone's listening, I don't want them to know that we're on to them.

He then stood up and stretched. "Ugh. I'm still feeling stiff from the flight. I'm going to walk around a bit, see if I can stretch out." He proceeded carefully around the room, periodically stopping to twist his body and/or bend over.

[OOC]Invisible Castle's down, so I'll let the GM roll for me. Perception dice pool 10, visual specialization, for a total pool of 12. The flexing should give him an excuse to peer into otherwise hard-to-see parts of the room, under cases, etc.[/OOC]

When Torley looks closer, specifically checking for them, he sees not one, but several of the little metal insects, including a couple sticking to the ceiling.  He counts at least five, emphasis on at least.

They are definitely artificial, as the spindly little legs coming off the body only number four, which matches up with no insect you have ever hear of, even among awakened bugs.

Snow will blink at the message from Sam.  She will send a message off to the security team she has access to.  <Hey, do you guys have any eyes in this room?  We think there may be at least one spybot of some kind in here.  Shape of a spider?  Let me know if this in one of yours or something to be concerned about.>  *Now let's see if we do have more nodes operating here.*  Snow will send out feelers to detect any additional nodes than the two she knows about already.  Unless something was passive or stealthed her first sweep should have picked up all of the nodes.  She will send a message to Clem.  <Boss, scanning for stealthed nodes.  If I find one should I try to infiltrate or let them think we do not know they are here?>

Clem read both messages from Torley and Ophelia. She didn't like this sudden change of situation, but as the new coordinator for these things, she didn't want to jump to any conclusions too fast. The last thing they needed was to be overzealous and break something that belonged to the studio. She sent a casual message to the whole group, hoping they would see the wisdom in her restraint. <Before anything, Snow, I want you to confirm with the site that this spybot is not theirs, or something part of this P2 business. Sammy, can you see if there's anyone in the vicinity ready to pounce on us meanwhile?>

After she sent the message, Clementine turned to O'Connor and jokingly asked him "You sure you know how to handle that big gun?" She hoped the hint was obvious enough for O'Connor to be on standby.

"I'll have a look in the astral," Sammy said.  She was looking for a nice spot to sit when the messages got in.

<<It can be spy bots from a rival company or something like that.  It's something that happens here a lot.  If security confirms they're not theirs, just remove them and turn them off.  We can check later to see who sent them and if we can't find them, we can always wipe their memory and sell them.  Or use them ourselves.  Going offline for a moment.>>

Then she found a nice spot, sat down and let her consciousness flow from her body into the astral to do a quick recon.

Snow gets a quick reply from the tech.  "No eyes on your space, that is almost a dead zone for us, by contract.  Sounds like you got some nosy spybots, we get that kinda stuff on set time to time.  We're a bit busy right now,  with shooting starting any second, but as soon as we can break someone loose we will send them your way."  With backup coming, she will set her link to  start scanning for the hidden drones.

The Avalon locks onto the first one about five minutes later, she sets it to continue searching while she carefully checks the particulars of the first.  She identifies it as a stock model Shiawase Kanmushi and after checking the specs, determines it must be operating by remote command.  It simply doesn't have the power to penetrate the dampening in the room's walls to receive instructions even if the rigger were standing right outside the room.
