How much does she think I can do without being obvious about it? Sam thought to himself upon receiving Snow's message. The bar wasn't very big, so it didn't take him long to walk over to the booth. He was careful to keep his Pito feed focused on the gangers, both as he walked and as he sat down, but he didn't have time to give descriptions as well.

After a brief, uncomfortable silence, Sam cleared his throat to draw their attention. "I understand you boys know where Bacchus is. The sooner you tell me, the sooner you can get back to your room," ...and whatever poison you're pumping into yourselves, he added silently.

Crossbow, let me know if you want me to roll for looking the gangers over. Sam doesn't know much about recreational drugs, but he can read people pretty well.

Snow is not getting much love from the hacked 'links so she can leave them and focus on the gangers.  Using the close up pictures she runs the visible symptoms through her analysis program to see if it comes up with the drug of choice for these guys.  She realizes that her chances are not as good as if she was standing over them, but she might get something.

Snow scans the faces and looks closely at the physical symptoms the gangers are displaying.  *Frag.  These gangers are not doped.  These are symptoms of BTL chips.*  She sends the team a message.  <Sam.  These gangers are high on fragging BTLs, not drugs.  Look for the chipslot and disconnect them.  They will be very hungry and thirsty so get some water and food ready.  They might be talkative in the early stages of coming out.  Have them drink water, not the drek they call beer there.>  She sits back in the car, glad that she could make the diagnosis.  Smiling to herself, she goes back to monitoring the security feed from inside the bar and monitoring the net.

Sam was surprised by Snow's message, but decided to trust her. Motioning the bartender over, he ordered a pitcher of water and a couple meals, as well as a small appetizer for himself. Then he started looking to see if he could find the BTL chips.

I'm assuming perception is needed here. Sam's visual dice pool is 12 (5 skill, 5 intuition, 2 specialization). Unfortunately, Invisible Castle seems to be down right now, so I'll let the GM do whatever rolls he feels are appropriate.

(OOC:  You guys really do make this too easy for me, MWAH HA HA)

Although Torley is not personally acquainted with cyberware, he is a child of the Fifth World so he knows there is a manual eject on most brands of chipjacks that come with open ports like these.  He easily removes the chip from the black haired man's jack and is watching the results of the dumpshock come across the banger's face while he is reaching for the nodule on the blond's neck.

(OOC: Logic check for manipulating cyberware unskilled.  Hello there Gremlins Rating 2 Negative Quality!   8) :o )

The nodule moves strangely, so Torley readjusts his hand and jabs the spot harder.  When his finger slips into the blond's neck up to the knuckle he thinks there could be a problem, then the man begins to have a violent seizure.  On the bright side though, he can feel chip has ejected as it is spit past his suddenly very wet finger that is still inside the kid's neck.

Snow is watching on the Pito feed that Sam was using to show the gangers.  Seeing what is happening, she grabs her bag and races for the bar to render care.  She slides to Sam's side and tries to help him with the one he has stuck in the neck.  Keeping calm and hopefully looking confident, she looks at the victim as she says, "Hey Sam. Got a small problem here?  Let me take a look."  Kneeling, she opens her medkit and begins first aid procedures as she carefully withdraws Sam's fingers from the chip slot.  "Went a little deep in there, eh?  Don't worry, this happens all the time with these fragging cheap slotters.  You would think anyone who uses this drek would front the money to get a good one."  Maintaining her calm, she begins the work to save the man's life.  Talking more to herself, she talks in Russian to the ganger, "Не умереть на мне, что ты идиот.  Now, don't die on me you idiot."

When Snow rushed inside the bar, Clem cursed under her breath. *What the drek? This woman never stops, does she?* thought the ork. She sent a message to the rest of the team, saying <Stand down, we don't need to spook the gangers or the barkeep with more than one unexpected "good samaritan">

Sammy had also set two steps towards the bar when she got the message and when thinking about it, realising that Clem was right.  And those chipheads would probably not last long anyways, as chipheads never did.  That was something she remembered from her youth in the slums: drug addicts, no matter what the drugs, didn't last long.  And neither did gangers for that matter.
"Sam, ask the barkeep," she said over the comm, "he might know what to do and he might not want his bar covered with blood.  say it was an accident, that it suddenly let go."

Torley throws up a little in his mouth, but otherwise manages through sheer force of will, and probably that appearance magic he just learned he had, to keep the outward appearance of the disaster to a minimum.  He becomes strangely fascinated with mixture of blood and other fluid pooling in his palm for a tick or two until the world comes rushing back into focus.

Snow is suddenly there, the beautiful Russian carefully extracting his finger from the kid’s neck through a wad of gauze then somewhat roughly shoving him away so she can get to work saving his victim’s life.\

He registers a woman screaming.  Some poor thing happened to be looking the wrong way and witnessed the gruesome activity.  A crash of broken glass draws his attention as his (former?) friend the bartender drops the bottle he is pouring from and moves to come around the bar.  The fat bouncer is also lumbering his way, having been shoved aside by Snow’s hurried entrance to the bar.

Snow calmly begins working on the kid but spares a glance and comment for the bartender.  "Hey.  Lucky for you and this kid that my, um, date stood me up and I happened to come in for a something to drown my anger in.  This kid's drek of a chipslot failed."  Nod to where Sam is standing with blood on him and his face registering shock.  "It looks like this man was trying to save his life by putting pressure on the neck.  He is clearly in shock.  Can you get him a drink to steady him up.  I can cover the cost.  In fact, get the fragging screamer a drink, too.  I need it quiet in here."  She sends a message to the team.  <Guys.  Does it make sense to back my play on this or am I all wrong?  If it does, I think that Sam should just keep playing his movie guy and act all shocked and get a drink.>  She will address the bartender again, "Could you have your rather large bouncer keep the people away so I can work here?"  She shakes her head.  "The fragging street doc who put this slot in should be hung.  I could have done better with only one hand."

Sam was surprised at Snow's sudden arrival, but quickly recovered himself. "You sure you got this, ma'am?" he asks, then at her brisk nod, headed back to the bar and called for a towel to wipe his hands, and then a fresh drink. "Hope she's as good as she sounds," he said while the bartender poured.

The bartender seems to be buying your version of things, he is clearly appreciative that someone is on hand to explain the bloodshed as well as deal with it so that he doesn’t have to.  He helps Sam clean himself up as Snow works on the kid, getting the bouncer to move him to the floor so she can work easier.

In spite of the show, the damage to the A-kid is not very serious.  The most dangerous parts, the blood loss and the internalized chip, are dealt with by Snow with minimal fuss, a testament to her healing skill.  The seizures stop, but the kid is out, she notices an activated CrashCart monitoring device on his wrist, so there should be someone coming to get him very soon.

The other ganger, Jim, is helped out of the booth and brought to the bar.  There he is plied with hydration and starts to become more cognizant, ready for questions.

Snow continues to work on the kid, trying to make sure that he will live long enough fro the crash cart to arrive.  She sends an encrypted message to the team.  <The boy will live.  He has a crash cart monitor on his wrist, though, which means that a doc of some kind will be dropping by soon.  Depending on the level of service, it could be a while, but it might limit the time Sam has with the other kid.  Clem, I am sorry that I did not ask for guidance before leaving the car.  I should have.  Should I stay in the bar now that I am here or leave?>

Clem rolled her eyes. *Now she asks for my opinion?* thought the ork, as she read the message Snow had just sent. <Just think of a good reason why you are there and why you intervened, and stick to it. And leave Sam out of your story, and also let him work the remaining chiphead.>

The former yakuza knew Amelia meant well, but she felt that she somehow wanted to do much more than she could, which often resulted in Clem getting frustrated with her. Every member had an equal voice in the team, which meant that everyone's opinion was important, but she felt compelled to somehow come forward and remind Snow what her role was and to stick to it. Clem, however, knew that now was not the right time and just buried the thought in the back of her mind for now.
