Huh, figured you were gunning for The Professional with your back story. (Had written that horribly punny sentence before I realized the pun. Decided that my shame should be made public and posted this)

It was because of a girl of course. How dumb can one guy become when he starts thinking with the wrong part of his anatomy? Dumb enough to offer to take the chick's LSAT for her, apparently. I got caught, naturally, and there was zero tolerance towards cheating in [Jacksonville Area Law School].  Got kicked out so fast and hard that I left skid marks on the street, no chance of an appeal.  I effectively got disbarred before I even finished my degree.

Christ, and that was nothing compared to how furious the chick was.  Thought she was gonna stab me, I swear.

Having sunk my inheritance into tuition and ware and no prospects except applying for a job in a fucking Stuffer Shack or signing a deal to become a bloody corpslave I considered myself well and truly buggered.  That's where good friends come in handy, [Contact/Other Player In Game] promised to hook me up with some people that are running the shadows. Said it wasn't really much more dangerous than going clubbing in the wrong part of town, at least most of the time. Can't say I cherish the thought of actually getting into a firefight or some shit like that, but as I understand it there is plenty of work that requires someone capable of putting together sentences with 3 syllable words without the help of his commlink.

Here's to new beginnings."

I'd like to throw my hand into this possibly with "Grim"

Grim is a licensed bounty hunter, that while in his gear, has a rather distinctive style. His primary weapon is a scythe (Pole arm)

Physical Adept, Pulls from the Assassin's handbook a lot. (Strive for Perfection, Dues Vult!, Conglomerate Professional)

Death however has no form, so while his reaper outfit is his most common, he does do work outside of it, so Blandness.

I'm looking at Attributes A) Magic B) Skills C) Resources D) Metatype E)

Grim, John Doe, The Faceless One, Reaper, or Charles Veldken. These are but a few of his names, the last of which being the one he was born with. At a young age, he was taken in by a church of assassins to which he learned a few skills best befitting to him and his abilities. Frightening this man was, able to withstand a rather torrent of damage, wounds shrugging off as if they were nothing.

A dark belief, as the Church of the Lost goers often have, built up in him. When he takes off his mask, he puts a new one on, an intangible one, as he often feels more himself wearing the skulll faced mask he normally wears for his work.

He takes work as a bounty hunter, specializing in legal assassinations rather than capturing targets alive, keeping with him a dossier of targets, that he could kill and legally bring into an office to be paid for. Of course, targets that his johnson wants dead, he usually will make disappear from the world.

EDIT: -------

Someone reminded me of a second character I've had the back.

Name: Jido Cthonall
Archetype: Mystic Adept
Magic A) Attributes B) Skills C) Metatype D) Cash E)

Another character who joined a religion at a young age, though Unlike Grim it wasn't to become an assassin. Jido joined the Church of the Jedi Order, and became rather enthralled by it all. However something was a bit lost in translation from the years, and what he picked up. Rather than being on the dark side or the light side of things, Jido simply took it as the grey side, completely willing to perform terrible deeds for the greater good, but at the same time, not turning a blind eye to suffering and misfortune.

He uses lies and trickery more than actual fighting. His primary weapon, a poor substitute for a proper light-saber, was a Virbro Blade (sail away sweet sister) though he does carry a cheap pistol with him as well.

Concepts are great, but implementation sucks. Why not improve it?

Apparently its a "real" church. Though I can rework him a lot.

Also Vibro blade comes from Sail away Sweet Sister as part of Catalysts "Enhanced Fiction."

Yeah I clicked it, dunno about it in the shadowrun universe though. Was skeptical about the the vibroblade because I played KoTOR a bunch and recognized the weapon, wasn't aware it was part of the game.

Yeah, it was in 4e too. It didn't appear in run and gun (Like it should have) because they put it in the novel instead.

Of course the Grim Reaper guy is a little more based off the assassins from Braavos, but to a point.

It was bad when the gangers were involved; it was worse when the corps were. And if it wasn't one you can damn sure bet it was the other. The barrel of a gun or the heel of a boot. There were nothing but bad options when you and everybody you've ever known were born poor, grew up poor, and died poor. But the worst part of it all, the part that ate at him when he tried to sleep?  It was the acceptance. Samuel Ramah had had enough.

When he Awakened he had sought out a local talismonger to learn how to control his abilities. After months of painful and demoralizing failures they discovered where his outward magical abilities lay- alchemy. The talismonger was quick to see the revenue potential in this; Samuel was hired on to create black market preparations. There risk was high and so were the prices but there are not many places that you can custom pre-order levitation hidden in an alley or healing stashed on a rooftop.

His other abilities, those he found he could summon from within with intense focus, those he kept all to himself. When he had no orders to fill he planned and he practiced. He had never had the fortune of fate smiling on him. He would need to be silent and untraceable or he could do more harm than good. For two years he secretly practiced stealth, acrobatics, and archery.

He knew he still wasn't ready as he listened to a neighbor on the other side of a thin wall crying to her husband about being rolled by local punks and losing the credstick that was supposed to feed their family for the next month. He knew he still wasn't ready when he put on his most concealing armored clothing and a cheap motorcycle helmet to hide his face. He knew he still wasn't ready when he stood across the street from the run down husk of a building the street rats were holed up in.

Two hours and one severe beating later he was sitting in his apartment nursing a few broken ribs, a sprained ankle, and an eye that would no longer open. It was hard to move but none of the pain even registered in his mind. All that he could think about was his neighbors waking up in the morning and finding the credstick sitting on their kitchen table with enough nuyen on it to eat for three months.

He knew he was ready.
