Hey guys ... I've been running my players through the infamous Cannonball Run for the last couple of weeks and the time is coming for the final Round. I thought it might be pretty cool to involve the community in this case!

Essentially, its been modified from the original version to house 10 teams, each from a different nation or city. The final mission I'd like to be particularly epic and as such, would love to see all teams fleshed out as benefits a potential Prime-Runner team!

I was in the process of building these guys when I thought of how I'd love to see what everyone else would do here. What I'd like to see is have everyone submit an entry for one of the team members listed below. Anything but Seattle and Venezuela would work. Also, keep in mind that this is for 4th edition SR so Chummer might be the best way to go! You can post below, or send me a PM, either way you like. I do have at least one player who is active on these forums, but I trust that he can RP without the knowledge you post.

The teams are composed of 3-5 members each. Ideally there would be at least 1 magician, 1 hacker and 1 gunman, 1 phys ad and 1 slot is left to double up on anything the group would specialize in. I have listed the teams below, as well as their expected primary and secondary specialites:

Rules to design by:
  • MilspecTech is Ok on teams that have HEAVY WEAPONS in their description only
  • For availability, assume 20F is the cap.
  • Its ok to post an alternate design for a similar character
  • All books from the 4th Ed library are available, including ones in non-english versions
  • All characters will be given 175 karma to advance and a corresponding 175,000 to spend on gear
  • There is currently a house-rule to buy karma with this initial bundle of money. $1,000 = 1 karma. Max of $50,000 spent this way.
  • Just indicate at the top of your post which team member you are creating.

Lets try to make this run one for the books ;)

Yup - there's a point here or there that aren't spent, but not enough to make a difference.  I only gave these the starting Prime Runner karma, and tried to avoid negative qualities where I could.  Interesting note, the mage is basically the mage that is in my group.  He uses spirits for combat, and keeps his head on a swivel to keep counterspelling up and keep people out of harm's way.

I heard you talking about these adventures before, did you find the complete adventures somewhere or flesh them out from that web blog we found somewhere?

I always kind of wanted to see how they were originally presented out of curiosity. The summaries were pretty cool wonder how the real thing compared to the summaries.

1. Primary: Demo means the team will use explosives (and rockets and grenades) before they resort to traditional firearms.
2. Yes, 400bp, then the karma for advancement
