Here's what I think:

Vladmire is Purposely trying to miss hitting Leon. If Leon is in cover, take some potshots at him. Thats all Vlad has to do. It's going to take a glitch to hit Leon if you are trying to kill the other Borg and Leon is taking cover. Proper communication before and during the attack should prevent a lot of mishaps. And if you do somehow hit Leon, it's a 99% chance that you hit some metal part of him and he just shrugs it off because the guy is a fraggin tank. It's a good plan, provided Leon has good stealth and bluff skills.

What Number 2 said, Trisk. Cyclone can take some pretty big hits, and in this case it's not PVP because he wants you to shoot near and possible hit him. Lends credibility, you see. The one thing Cyclone doesn't have is bluff skills, but that's what edge is for :-)

Well, Cyclone might be able to.. but Vladmire isn't half metal. If he's suppose to be fought off..
Concepts are great, but implementation sucks. Why not improve it?

Vladmire is supposed to be hard to see, right? Why not set up a decoy? Hell, you could get a big sheet of electronic paper or something and rig it to make it look like it's firing.

Leon: He has a silencer! He's over there! *points at decoy*
Borg: Let's get 'im!

There are plenty of ways to make this work. Talk it out OOC if you need to.

Its why he suggested using cadavers with guns that fired blanks.

Trisk
Oh, I was merely thinking you'd set up from a hidden position, kill a few Borg and wound me and/or the target, and then get the hell out of dodge while we shoot the place up in an attempt to get the sniper trying to take out the Borg leader.

A sniper is going to be, or should be at least, hard to spot, especially if you have infiltration. You can take a shot (using the Ambush rules), spend your next IP using the infiltration skill to duck out of sight, and since you're using a silenced rifle the opponents will have a hell of a time spotting you.

Marcus has a Pain Editor; with the GMs permission, you could try a called shot for a particularly well-armored piece of his body (effectively counting the called shot as the Splitting the Damage from SR5, so I would take half physical, half stun). Additionally, I'm asking for some Subsonic rounds that adds +2 to AV, making it all the more unlikely for your shot to damage me much. And even then Marcus has BOD 8, 22 (or 28 with the Ares Arctic Forces suit) Ballistic AV, and 17 Condition Monitor dice. There's just no way you can get to 17 unresisted DV unless you are using Anti-Vehicle weapons, even if you did manage to somehow bypass all 22/28 armor value... :D

The reason I'm saying all this is because rigging cadavers presents two problems;
1. Where the hell do we get them from? Break into a local morgue and steal some deados? Kill some poor schmucks just so we can line them up?
2. Even the most untrained idiot would be able to tell that a dead body has been dead for more than an hour, especially in a cold environment. And it's safe to assume that while the Borg in general might not be recruiting particularly intelligent people they at least have some smarter operatives, or they wouldn't be this big of a thorn in Ares' side.

Marcus will be opposing the cadaver idea simply because of practicality; he (well, I) thinks that the threat of a single sniper is more than enough to warrant cautiousness on behalf of the Borg, especially if the sniper manages to threaten their leader. As long as you can hide and get off a couple rounds, preferably taking out some high-level operative and/or wounding their leader and possibly myself (maybe we can get the GM to agree on a called shot that we set up like a teamwork test, where you target Marcus and Marcus bodyslams the leader into the ground, effectively "saving" him" for theatrical effect), we'll be much better off than if the Borg find some dead bodies on a rooftop.

This doesn't need to be an all-out attack; it just needs to give the impression that there's a threat the Borg need to take seriously, and a sniper is very much a serious threat.

The biggest concern I have is getting you out of there after you're done shooting; do you have a reliable means of getting away safely? Maybe we can ask Ares if we can borrow a snowmobile or something :D

Aw man, if I'd have known that Ares would be giving out equipment I woulda forced myself into that fight  :3

Anyway, Feathers and Anechka are together at least at the grey building, so just waiting on Number 2 to see where that leads us.  If you still need a suggestion on how to get everyone together, could be that the job offer there is the same one the others are getting from Ares.  Anechka also has a fixer contact, so if needed they could supply her with the job as well.  Up to you though, since I dunno what you already have planned at the building.

Not giving out, just borrowing :)

I think I might have a solution for getting us together; Cyclone mentioned he'd want a hacker to help with forging the background story he and Vlad are aiming (heh!) for. He's got a contact in the Vory, and he'd likely go to him for suggestions on who to contact. The vory contact could potentially refer Cyclone to Feathers and Anechka through a fixer.

Alternatively, we run the two jobs side-by-side, hope for the best, and meet at the end!

In any case, Number 2, what kind of info do we have on the Borg leader, and the place he / they are hanging out? As per the IC thread, Cyclone will want to wait for a fake/real ID with Ares employment and termination records as he needs all the help he can get with regards to lying his way into the Borg.

Oh Right, info on the Borg leader. Perhaps the fact I'm trained in knowing about them would help...

Borg knowing - Leader: 9d6t5 2

Well, not as much as I'd like, but still helpful.

Trisk: You know that he's pretty reclusive. But you also know where he lives. You also know that he's not quite as chromed as the others. The reason that he's their leader is because he's smarter than any 3 of them combined.

All right, so here's the plan from Marcus' point of view.

With his new ID in hand, he'll hit up his residence and pick up some gear, get the drugs off of Anatoly if he can deliver them quickly (longest time frame is 12 hours for the Kamikaze, and if I pay double I'm hoping he'll have it ready by the day after).

He'll then liaise with Vlad later on in the day to get ready for infiltrating the enemy compound, and for timing the assault.

Marcus' equipment list will look like this.
Worn (from skin out):
Form-Fitting Half-Body Suit (Chemical Protection 6)
SecureTech Forearm Guards, Leg and Arm Casings, Shin Guards, and Vitals Protector
Clothes (Urban military fatigues)
Ares Arctic Forces Suit

Headgear:
Helmet (Atmosphere Sensor, Geiger Counter, and Ultrawideband Radar rating 4)
Respirator (Rating 6)
Goggles (Flare Comp, Thermographic, Vision Enhancement Rating 3)
Earbuds (Spatial Recognizer, Audio Enhancement Rating 3)

Total Armor: 28/26

If he can get biometrics for the ID that Ares is setting up (presuming they're not using his), he'll also wear a latex face mask to better match his new ID. If they're using his biometrics, he'll go as himself.

Weapons:
Ares Alpha (loaded with SnS and EX-Explosive ammo, grenade launcher loaded with flash-bangs, worn on a sling under the Ares Arctic suit if carrying illegal weapons on the street is frowned upon in this town :) )
Ruger Super Warhawk (loaded with SnS rounds, quick-draw holster, worn on right hip)
Ceramic Knife (concealable boot holster)
Katana (sheath worn on back)
Arm Blade (right cyberarm)
Shock Hand (right cyberarm)
Light Cyberpistol (loaded with SnS rounds, left cyberarm)

Large Smuggling Compartments (1 in each leg):
1x Expendable Jammer (Rating 10)
1x Flamethrower Fuel (smallest canister available, 4 charges)
1x Operations Cleanup Kit
6x Slap Patches and 6 Syringes (Laes)
5x Syringes (Gamma-Scopolamine and Narcojet)

Internal Auto-Injector:
1x Cram, 2x Jazz, 2x Kamikaze, 1x Psyche

Ares Arctic Forces suit:
Erika Elite, broadcasting fake Ares ID
Certified Credstick, Gold (250¥)
Reality Amp Chip (Red Alert)

Polar Survival Kit (backpack):
3x Adhesive
3x Alkahest
1x Glasscutter, Miniwelder, Wire Clippers
30x Plastic Restraints
2x Tool Kit (Hardware and Industrial Engineering)
Various Ammunition: SnS and EX-Ex for light pistols, SnS and Regular for heavy pistols, SnS and EX-Ex for assault rifles; gas grenades (neurostun), flash-bangs, and HE minigrenades for grenade launcher

Let's do this! :D
