The "plan" Hornet lays out in the car assumes Athena will go astral, Zippy stays in the car for getaway/bodysitting purposes, Baba hides in the back yard with flammables, Hornet will either be "a concerned neighbour" seeing smoke from the attic and helping to get "those poor souls" out or with Baba on pyro duties.

Anyone have a better idea that isn't just torching the place without any worries about what is inside (since we have 3 fairly soft hearted runners on the team)?

This conversation should be very interesting regardless, since Baba gets to explain how extremely likely death is going to be and how it's totally our faults, and throwing her spirit prejudice into the mix will make thing break down fast.

"I'm sure my girl has some magic she can probably use." Baba remarks, remembering the way her father would pass out for a few seconds and come back knowing an entire building layout. He used to say he could project his astral presence and move around outside his body. She didn't pretend like she knew how that worked, but she hoped Athena did. "You can project your astral thing, right? That'll help with the scouting. Maybe you could find an empty place that's hard to get to, like the attic, and start some magic fires up there. A few molotovs in the windows, someone may run for the extinguisher and think he can make a difference. The entire roof on fire? Nobody's sticking around for that. They'll all clear out if they value their hide."

Yeah. I can do that. I'll start top down and light up anything I can. I can make some preparations on the way.

She sits back into the seat making quiet preparations. She would be on her own in the astral plane, but no sense worrying them about it. It's one of the places she felt equal.

Well, it seems she never SAID she could summon spirits, but it wouldnt be unreasonable for Francis to assume that a mage could summon a spirit.

Just so everyone is on the same page, you've been paid 5k each already from the advance and Baba Yaga has been paid an additional 10k from twine, which she may or may not split up with the rest of the group.

  Francis hasn't made any moves to divvy up the 20k credstick. Used that for purchases for this job, was thinking about dividing the remaining sum up between the runners. If people would not have gone for that we can assume we divided it up and maybe held back ~2k or so for expenses. Since I didn't say either way we can just retcon to whatever suits us.
