With Dave dozing in some alley, does that mean that Mac may enter the Hangar...? :)

Done.

Imveros

Just wanted to give you a chance to wrap up with Amber before advancing you.

Thanks for the time. I'm all caught up now. Let me know what the scene  cost me so i can mark it down on my sheet.

Lets get this run started!
No trees were harmed in the creation of this message, but a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

I summon a Water spirit, Force 3.

Summon Spirit: 11d6t5 3

I seriously have to put Karma in Summoning.

I assume the parking lot is relatively safe to leave a vehicle in? It is a family place, so I would assume thefts are rather rare. Still, it would be rather embarrassing if I were to have my vehicle stolen before the run had even started.

The parking lot does seem safe and well lit.

So the spirit doesn't appear, right?  Since you got no net hits?

That depends on your roll. He throws Force x 2 dice, i.e. 6. If you score 3 hits, then yes.

Just want to make sure I've got this right.

Pg 300 of SR5 says it's an opposed test against the spirits force, not force x2.

Yes. They only oppose with Spirit's Force. Binding is Force x 2.

Before I make an IC post, just a quick question.

How are people seated? Is a waiter/waitress there to lead you to a spot, is it all done with AROs? Just wanted to incorporate that into my post.

Jeez, you're right :) that's welcome news.
If it's fine by you, I'd summon lvl 4 instead in that case. If not, I'll do with 3 this time and conjure 4 next time.
Anyway, thanks ^^

I'm not quite sure whether additional powers are chosen by the GM or the player. If I'm to choose, I'll pick Bind (or Binding, I forgot). But I guess it won't matter anyway.

This place is old school.  There's a hostess stand by the door where someone will seat you.

You already rolled for force 3 so we'll use that.

Since you just summoned a random water spirit I'd say it's powers are chosen by the GM at random.

Results of the summoning:

-water spirit will appear and owes you 2 services.

-spirits optional power is Weather Control.

-you need to resist 2 points of Stun Drain

And I just accidentally refreshed the page and deleted my post. Whoops  ::). Noted, now it's time to rewrite the IC.

Also fine by me.
In case I need something less random, can I per principle pick the optional powers, when it's important?

No drain: Drain (DV = 2): 12d6t5 4

cheers
