Arc saw the whole thing as the invisibility fizzled out, the human turning off her thermographics just in time to see that keeb fracking shank herself right in the stomach. What the drek THOSE ARE HER GUTS SHE'S GRABBING WHAT she screamed inwardly, mouth hanging open in the shock of it all. And then the wave of napalm burst from her. The bike had reached a stop, there was no way she was gonna outrun THAT. Gritting her teeth, she flared the throttle, gunning it, the tires screeching on the pavement as she reared to get away from the ensuing inferno, turning towards where the ritual was and making it only a few feet before it hit her right side.
She cried out, screaming as the burning hot flames scorched at her body, hands white-knuckled on the handlebars as she fought to keep going. This was more pain than she had ever born in her life: not even Lupo could beat her this hard. What's more, with the heat and the flames, her memories kicked in, flashing back to that fateful fire that set her life in motion the way it did. The fire that took her family away and any hope of a normal life, a peaceful life...a life with natural eyes, at the very least. Her eyes were held shut from the pain as she shouted, not knowing when the agony would end.
Finally, she couldn't hold on as her vision went black. Anyone looking would see the human falling off the bike into the pavement with a rough thud, the napalm creating a sickening sizzling sound on her flesh as she lay there limp on the street.
