I guess I'm pulling over then, barring input from the team.

Okie doke.  Can I get a Perception test?  Also, since this is probably Delilah's first experience with Lonestar aside from that time she got caught nicking lip gloss back in middle school, can I get a Composure Test as well (low threshold)?

Nice knowing you guys...

Perception Test: INT (5) + Perception (2) [9] (7d6.hits(5)=2)
Composure Test: WIL (6) + CHA (2) (8d6.hits(5)=0)

Sigh... guess I have to spend an Edge here.
Composure Test: Edge Second Chance: WIL (6) + CHA (2) (8d6.hits(5)=2)

You certainly don't have to spend an edge here.  Delilah will just be very nervous -- and probably take a -1 dice pool modifier to a CON test should she need it.

Seeing as how she is only rolling 3 dice for a Con test without the penalty, I don't know. I can't imagine not rolling a Con test here, although I also can't imagine her passing the Con test either. Oh well, them's the breaks, I'll keep the two hits from the use of Edge.

Ok, in that case, Bookworm feels pretty in control of her faculties here.  From her perception test, she's under the impression this is more of a standard stop than anything else.

Let's do a Con test, with the following: -1 (Subject is suspicious,) +2 (Character has plausible seeming evidence,) +1  (Pasta Awake Mal is hilarious) = +2 total dice modifier

ETA: I feel like Bookworm's Afrikaan's knowledge skill should also come into play here, along with the evidence, so put in another +1 for a +3 total dice modifier.

Sure thing:

CHA (2) + Con (1) - Subject Suspicious (1) + Plausible Evidence (2) + Distraction (1) (5d6.hits(5)=3)

Can't complain about that roll...

LS rolled 1 hit on their opposed check, so they bought that one completely.

PASTA AWAKE MAL!!!

Dude, RednBlack, can I just take a second here to say how incredibly immersive and realistic a game world you're running here. Down to getting stopped for having a crappy-ish car. I'm almost intimidated to run a game with you in it, cause I'm afraid it won't stack up.

For real, this is bad-ass, man. Big up on all the work you're putting in on this.

@Ryo, Hopeless has been pretty disciplined about keeping his comm running silent, and I generally assume runners are running silent when they're going to meets and stuff.  @Poindexter, can you shed some light on this?  Has Hopeless been running silent since he rebooted his Transys Avalon?  If so, Archive can spot the commlink and see that it has a Rating 6 firewall, but he cannot access the number of marks.

Sorry, i missed this.

Yes, its been running silent. But breeze had the code for that as well as the burner, which is a metalink.

Man, that's great to "hear."  I'm glad this seems like a real, lived-in place.  Coming from you, I will definitely accept the compliment.

I'm almost intimidated to run a game with you in it, cause I'm afraid it won't stack up.

Hahahaha, no.  I've been angling to get into a game of yours in Old Jack City since I started reading that first IC thread.  Characters, locations, everything is so solid, down to the OOC real-world pop culture references to "Blurred Lines," I think it was.  Really looking forward to the Looking for Ringo game.

@All, I think we're ready to move along, right?

@Ryo, Hopeless' Metalink shows no additional marks, so that would be a safe bet for Archive's initial contact with the group.

ETA: In our revised timeline, Archive has yet to get the key for Breeze's encrypted files.  Also, I don't have anything IC to add at the moment.  You guys can get to a cafe or wherever, and if Archive is coming in from DFW, he has no trouble on the train.

Oops! I think I made that name up, probably not an actual Game Title. My bad!

Yeah, I think so. It would probably be best to get the meet setup with Ryo/Archive so that we can hash everything out at once. I think Poindexter had alluded to that in one of his posts. That way, we can get everyone on the same page and start putting a plan together.

Yeah, sorry about that!

I just got a new job in a different city (Found out last week, started yesterday) and I've been totally swamped with getting my shit together, finding a place to stay, and starting work. I don't even have internet in my apartment yet, and I'm posting this on my lunch break.

As soon as I get the net up and running in my place, I'll be able to take the time to write up a proper post.

Cool.  Thanks for checking in.  By all means, get yourself situated and all before you post.  Congrats on the new job!  I hope it's a good gig for you.
