It's been bugging me for some time now - can an underbarrel weight double as another accessory? Flashlights, laser sights, smartgun systems, underbarrel weapons - it's not like all these stuff is weightless.

As for the part about the foregrips - just take a look at these:

Folding foregrips (for getting rid of that pesky concealability penalty, could be even modified with servos, like folding stocks!), foregrips with built-in flashlights, foregrips with built-in flashlights AND laser sights... All available online, here and now. So why aren't they available in Shadowrun???

The underbarrell weight is an easy one, it has to be the right amount of weight in the right place.
Which likely means it's custom designed for the gun and shooter.

But yeah, the rest of the accessories you link to (and plenty of others in the "tacticool" world) should be easily available for Srun, there's just too many to put into a book.

Hmm... Didn't think of that. Still, as seen on the attached pics, flashlights and laser sights can be very compact, probably more so in Shadowrun. And since the weight is going to be custom anyway, working in one of those should be pretty easy.

i think they are also avoiding combining weapon upgrades so that every street sam doesn't have one of these...

I think your right in theory psycho and if I had a player with a good armorer (or skill) I'd work through it with them.
