3 actually!  Bumping Charisma to 10 pulls my total to 28, so just out of reach of a base limit 9.  Ghost bless rounding up.

You choose one character as the lead (though not necessarily the leader, see Leadership skill). Then the other characters assist (limited by their skill level, I believe). The assisting characters roll the skill check and each hit they roll is added as an additional die to the leader's dice pool (up to their skill level). All must roll the same skill, though up to one character with leadership can sub their leadership role instead if they are accepted as the leader. Each assistant that rolls at least 1 hit also raises the limit of the leader by one. Then the leader rolls using his new die pool and limit and that result is used for the test.

That sounds right, and I see no reason computer tests can't be teamwork.

Also, you'll find summoning on this mountain to be easier, with a +2 boost to your limit.

For the cooperative searches:  Ivory will take the back sit and help Flea do the search. (We can later check who is mechanically better to lead)  Ivory has 10 dice for all matrix actions, she can push 6 additional dice 2 hot sim + 4 magic  - but these also apply to Flea.

Anyhow: Step one augment Flea with higher intuition (5 success but cannot boost stats by more than 4)
1.  Improve perception spell: 16d6t5 5
2.  Drain: 12d6t5 5

Step two: Augment Ivory - (I took into account -2 from spell sustaining) still it seems to help a bit.
1. Improve Intuition Ivory: 14d6t5 5
2. Drain: 12d6t5 4

so we I managed to augment Ivory with +4 intuition and Flea with +4 intuition.
Ivory takes now -4 to all actions, as she is sustaining 3 spells Improve logic + 2* improve intuition - she has focused concentration that take care of one of the spells.

She now perform the search in hot sim.  Matrix Search: 12d6t5 4

overall - she is able to augment Flea with 8 dice. 4 from successes in data search + 4 more from magic.
I am just posting it now, so when we actually IC it we have all the mechanical aids.  (as well as augment her limit by 4).
