Was tempted to use my free action and DNI to message IT, but in all honesty she knows almost nothing about spirits and wouldn't know how bad her situation is, especially not know it's going to act twice more this round. If things go bad she'll probably send a message next round.

I think the best time to call was when you identified a spirit problem - before combat time. Then you just wait for a minute or so playing dumb and she'd be there. (The spirit was there for a while)

 IT can travel 5km a combat turn 'running' in the astral. So unless you are close she may not be able to interfere in combat. 10-20 seconds are a lot of time during combat. But perheaps spirits can travel much faster than mages- do not know for sure but they appear from some other plane in a complex action. So they must be travelling fast. If it is possible ofc she would love to help.

The main reason she didn't from the start was assensing it as a force weaker than her magic level... she felt capable of talking it on, and mainly it's just been some horrid rolls that have put her in the position she's in.

Also she did send a message to everyone saying she was battling a spirit and to watch out for toxic spirits but no one ever seemed to have bothered top pick up on it IC.

For what its worth, even if she can't directly interfere in combat, she can patch you up afterward as she can reach 20 dice for first aid, and 16 dice for heal spell. I think it should be enough to make you as good as new.
I think it heals over 8 damage in expectency, but I haven't actually used a heal spell+ first aid yet so I may have missed somthing.

PS: Sabato - the car is fixed (well just 3 HP of total dmage of 8 ) but this is all we can do in the field. We need an autoshop to fix the rest and it will have to wait for Seoul. She is now trying to remove a nasty tracking device from the engine, but it can wait if we need to do somthing urgent. I guess the split up and lay low approach was a mistake. :(

PS2: I wonder if our spirits are equally dangerous or just the evil spirits are.
