Charisma, though James is taking a backseat to Inanna, so if you only want to take the hit for sustaining one spell, I'd give Inanna first dibs.

no problem in sustaining multiple charisma because IT can drop it when time for talking is over. 
We can also summon a spirit and use all its services for spellcasting improve charisma (might not be +4 as the spirit will start 10 dice then 8 then 6 etc... ) but than no sustaining is necessary.

Inanna will take an Improved Charisma, especially if IT can keep a couple of them running.

That said, is it wise for us go running magic in there?  I'd assume that a shipping center probably won't have much in the way of magical security, but I'd to get flagged because of that.

You can't be sure just what he's up to, but there is some ulterior motive behind his words.

As far as things like Con rolls when it comes to NPCs vs. PCs, I prefer to leave those rolls to just NPCs.  PCs themselves can decide whether they think they're being conned or not.  I don't like to make players slaves to the dice when it comes to that sort of thing.

Now you can use it to determine if he is using any Con tactics that you would be familiar with, which he is.  You notice that he is using frequent eye contact in an attempt to convince you of his truthfulness.  His tell is that he seldom blinks, giving away his effort.

I think day at delivery entrance as we are disguised as curiers from no idle hand but what we find out about their security may be important also.
