Hmmm, an interesting check on a bike, but she'd be needing to take breaks on a ride that long.

Assebsing 5 + Intuition 3
Assensing check: 8d6t5 5 Hits

:o what is it with me and these Assensing checks?

I treat Assensing as a somewhat passive skill.  No specific details, just a general detection of sufficiently close/powerful magic.

And yes, with 11 hits, you've got lots of photos.

Update when I get home.

Ahh alright, I see what you mean, so more rolling to see if I've noticed anything.

Ahh alright, I see what you mean, so more rolling to see if I've noticed anything.

I phrased that incompletely.  If you actively use it, then you get the details.  So passively, you might notice magic.  Actively, you try to tune more deeply into it.

IT will first cast the improve intuition spell, just in case they open fire will give her at least some chance to not to be hit.

(took me a while to formulate the spell order so I just rolled 14 dice instead of 16, but got 4 hits never the less so no biggie).
Improve Intuition:
Intuition: 14d6t5 4
Drain:
drain: 12d6t5 2

Then she will momentarily check the astral to see if her trackers are awakened.
Assessing:
Anyone awakened from her followers?
Intuition (9) + assensing 4 -2 spells = 11.
Assensing: 11d6t5 2

If none of them is awakened she will find a location where they momentarily lose line of sight ITcast a an invisibility spell
(force 5)  - ( I rolled 14 dice instead of 12  so lets take the two last dice (1, 5) that means we got 5 hits only.
Invisibility Spell: 14d6t5 6
Drain:
drain: 12d6t5 2

2 stun damage will be taken if she cast Invisibility spell. the spell is capped at 5 successes - so that's 5 hits.

If she castes the invisibility spell she'll jump into the car and do some fancy driving to lose the raiders.
Fancy Driving logic 9 + skill 4 + control rig 1 + hot sim 2 -4 spells: 12d6t5 5
The control rig is especially awesome for fancy driving as it also reduces the threshold by one.

If they are awakened - well, let me figure it out when we get to it.

@gilga

If there is a choke point ahead of us and if there is a ambush then we are f*cked :)
I think we shouldn't alert the riders without getting some info first.
I don't mean to say that my plan is better but taking the initiative in possible combat situations  may cause some friction between our characters :P
Anyway, maybe this will create some interesting RP between IT and Sabato hehe

I understand it, but I do not know what we have to do about it?  Lets say they do have weapons and there is an ideal place for ambush a head - then what? --- what is this choke point?

Nevermind that ;)  The RP with Sabato solved it out.
So no astral and just invisibility + fancy driving. Lets hope her car survives this feat.
Anyhow, there is no point of being subtle now... I kind of hoped they'll just think they missed us. Rather then the car just go 'poof'.

But if it doesn't work I promiss to hack the commlinks from their dead bodies providing IT will survive a firefight.

If there is a choke point - a place where the road narrows and we won't be able to get away due to heavy traffic then we will trigger their trap(if there is any).If there was such a spot maybe you could hack the riders' commlinks and intercept any messages.Maybe there are other riders waiting for us ahead in such a spot.

Then, if  we thought such a trap  probable then we would change our route ;)

Well it got a little less subtle -  I hope they don't see through the invisibility spell.
If combat does evolves and IT survives she will hack the comm links from their dead bodies. ;)  unconscious is better probably.

Βtw I think Pilot is a skill linked to Reaction even  when you're jumped in , no?

nope, jumping in it is just mental attributes logic/intuition. You cannot use the physical attributes as you are not in control of your body.
If you play a high reaction guy, I'd use remote control instead of jumpin in. Less risk, and similar dice pools.

I thought the drone becomes an extension of the rigger thus he can use his physical attributes
(not debating whether this makes sense or not, I just can't find any mention of Logic apart from sensors and remote control :p)

Its actually skill + intuition.  (but both the same in this char).

The core rules are really messed up when it comes to rigging I read that part several times and eventually ,I found this cheat sheet. in some of the faq's about it.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1CAEJ5wiO0vhXJ8tTGb6g6CfjTB9xOPQOSjMWkRxNabA/edit#gid=0
it kind of tell me what to role for every occasion.

No problem by me, the core rules are muddy I agree though on my table  we use reaction + pilot even when jumped in because there is nothing to contradict  this in the book

Nice cheet sheet btw
you could also check the "Complete Rigger's Guide" someone posted here a while back.
