Heck, I'm an old Batman fan; so you can bet I worked out Lazarus pit rules.  {Not to mention, having the Demon's Head and his League of Shadows running around   in Shadowrun Asia would be amusing. }  Hey, I'll admit I'm guilty of taking stuff from comics, novels, TV, even movies for home-rule ideas.  Mythology is full of immortal beings; so just cracking a book of world legend\lore or cherry-picking concepts that interest you and your party works.

Earthdawn had some life extending spells, and I think her name was something like Anya who gained immortality through a deal with a horror.(I may be misremembering this)And in 2e the head of some magic organization lie the black circle was rumored to be immortal and human.  4e had a spirit pact that stopped aging.

Think you are thinking of Aina Dupree. 

She was an Immortal Elf in the elven court even before her hookup with the Horror Ysrthgrathe, which in turn spawned Thais who is a half Horror/half metahuman (MetaHor?)
