I'm fairly comfortable with sharing the NPC's in a game. So, 75% of their speech and actions should be me and 25% you. Obviously there are exceptions such as Arcs vruk and Mercy s Ginny. But in general I think 75/25 is a good guideline.

Smiles, it should be noted that Subaru prayed in the bedroom that Arc and Yelena share.  It may be that Nicholas was in the room when I was praying.  I did not assense since I was praying in what I thought was a secure place, so I could have missed him if he's as stealthy as I'm told he is.

And Subaru also is fully dedicated to sticking with Yelena to help her dress.  After the drama of the past few minutes, short of life or death there is absolutely no way she'll not perform as Yelena requests.  It is a Japanese thing and also a model student thing.

I don't remember the rules on summoned Gilga. But, the spirit performed his services fairly quickly and then was freed togo as I understood it. You'll be happy to know that it told her about the key,  protected her from several different thugs and stopped her from getting hit by a vehicle and helped her steal a coat.

Sending a spirit away from you is a remote service.  When the spirit was done fulfilling his task (if it was complete) it would have been free to go, regardless of services.  But his task was pretty broad, so that's the key.

This is why I asked Smiles to give me the option of a sideline story for now. Don't want to be out, but want to drag the story down. Gotten caught up with work.  Cub Scouts will be more caught up after Sunday, wife gets back in town Monday.  Stewing on a post with Snowden.  Smiles hit me back and I'm up.  I'm hanging in there.  Having to stay off of Skype chat mostly though.  Got to let myself post even if it isn't quite as deep as what you guys put up there.

Yelena rolls for luck in gaming and for addiction tests. 

Luck:  Luck for gambling: 3d6t5 2  Two hits out of three is not bad.  I hope.

Psychological addiction:  Resist Psychological Addiction: 7d6t5 2  Two hits is not very good.  Probably another addiction level for that.

Physiological addiction:  Resist Psychological Addiction: 6d6t5 2  Two hits is not good.  Probably a mental addiction too, this time.

All in all not so hot.  Maybe good on the luck, but probably poor on the addictions.  Looks like I should have saved the karma I spent on edge.  With only 5 left I doubt that I can get all the addictions down.

Ok, so you broke even with the gambling and I'll double check the addiction tests but I think the need is going to start clawing at you a bit. So you might start needing to sneak off for a hit. But don't worry about it yet.

I think that we are being very harsh about addictions in this game. If I understand correctly we do the test once a month (so no, you cannot go from no addiction to burnout in just week). The threshold of the test is determined by how much the character had used the substance in that month. (how long is she clean for that manner).
