Arc listened to the answers with a lowered gaze, a little reassurance to be had from the positive responses the dark Russian man gave in his curt responses.  As Yelena gave the affirming responses, Arc momentarily wondered if anyone was against the idea of giving this information to Nikolai, her eyes darting to everyone in quick turns.  Her own mind answered her concern though: Yelena had asked for their commitment before this, and they had all agreed.

On the promise of pictures and prints, the mechanic shared a look with the older elf, Arc giving a nod of understanding as she made a small movement of her head.  Off to the side, one of her MCT Fly-Spys activated, giving a little twitch before taking flight off of its charging pad.  Mentally directing it with her mind, she brought it to Yelena's side, a few feet away while she waited for the Russian to face it.

A brief flash of light later, Yelena's picture was taken and Arc was confirming the picture's quality and logging it into an ARO, leaving entries for the print files as well as basic biometrics.  As she instructed the drone to repeat the pattern with the rest of the team, the bug flying around the room, Arc pondered a bit about the nature of these SINs and what they would contain.  Naturally, the biometrics would be fitting for who they were..they'd be drek SINs otherwise.  But often subtle details like occupation could be displayed--her fake SIN lists her as a contract mechanic, for instance--, and that would likely be up to Nikolai's interpretation for their Polish-friendly identities.  It could certainly be interesting...

As the pictures were added and the the information organized, a thought popped up in the little rigger's mind, specifically a bit of info that was missed.  "...Hoi..."  She piped up, making sure she had the man's attention as she hopped off the table she was sitting on, arms crossed in front of her.  "So this job be going down in about 18 days.  In Europe.  So what day are we getting shipped over there, hm?  Day of, day before?  Air, sea, spaceshot?"  She tilted her head, eyeing him coolly as she gave a little shrug.  "Yknow, little details like that so our hoops actually get where we gon' needa be..."

Nicolai answers Arc matter-of-factly, "Is boots on ground, that is the expression no?" he says flicking a glance at Tuskaloosa, " In fourteen days. Trnsport is by seaplane, then rail, then suborbital then car in twelve days. Is better if few days on ground before job"

Yelena nods.  "We pack and ready to go in 12 days.  Give Yelena contact name and commcode to set up meet.  Yelena Bratva there."  She is a little surprised when the micro drone swings by and takes her pic, but turns to smile at Arc  She provides her prints as well.  Then she turns back to Nikolai and asks softly, "Nikolai Fyodorovich can say who other survivor is?  Yelena thought all dead."

@ Arc  You get a comm, >>You're references check out. I'm available to discuss your needs Mon-Fri 8am - 5pm. You'll need to make an appt.<<

@ Yelena  Nicolai leans in and tells her, "BlackMagic. I thought all dead. Russian police claimed credit for kill. I kill all top lieutenants and commander who claim credit. Then saw bounty on Tsina. Large bounty appears twelve years after all dead, but more, they wish torture. I think they do not know she is dead already. I ignore. Bounty increases every year. Then, I do job for new bratva. It puts me in contact with boss. I work few contracts for them three years before I see her. Face changed, tats changed, but still I know. I find person who post so large bounty so many years later. And I learn truth. Now, it is time for her to die. There is no mercy for betrayer."

Twelve days until this job begins.  That means telegraph days to finalize this work in the Stardust and to prepare.  Twelve days before the little rigger leaves the bounds of Seattle for the first time..

Mentally taking a great, Arc focused on the information and gave an acknowledging nod to Nikolai.  After this job with Ninelives, I'll pitch for a break, and maybe we move in after Marco's thing he said he's doing.  Should work. wWhile the drone flirted up to Marco and took his photo and prints, Arc was distracted momentarily by a message she received.  Nodding, she mentally composed a reply as Tuskaloosa's information was taken down.

<<Mr. Brotherton, thank you for getting back to me.  My schedule can fluctuate, but would 1:00 PM tomorre (Monday) work for you?  If something comes up on my end, i will let you know immediately>>

Sending that off, Arc rounded out the group information files by taking in Firefky's information, the mechanic organizing the lot of it in accordance to each person before compressing it into one clean file.  Slotting a datastick into her link, she loaded the files on before popping the stick out, held loosely in her hand as she approached the Russians, letting them finish their little talk...

Marco sighs, so unprofessional to commit to one gig before the previous one is finished. Will we find what we need in 12 days? Can we tell that, but then again this bloody massacre seems to be a window of opportunity and somebody have to kill the mages and then the adepts... subdo the betrayals and sell them to slavery.  These atrocities are not going to perform itself and for some reason I could not possibly understand it is important to Yelena.

Nicolai's off-hand comment and glance threw her for a loop, How much does he know?  Or is he assuming that every troll has seen a firefight, so I  would  know the lingo?
He was still speaking however and she shifted her attention back.   There--in Poland--in fourteen days.  Seaplane, rail...Suborbital?  Twelve days from now?  and the ambush is eighteen days away.

And it sounds like BYOG--Bring Your Own Gear.

Poland in December...and me without my electric Long Johns.

Even in the vacuum of information it meant more shopping and planing. Sure, why not?  With a hot date to extract a mage and what comes of that, a visit to the neighborhood association, a move and a skinny-dip in a vat for a Rigger upgrade, what's one  thing for my To-Do list?

Oh, yeah:  Ask Yelena about Vory policy regarding souvenirs.

@ Arc  You get a reply, >>Mon at 1pm will be fine. Consult fee is $150/hr. I have another client at 14:30 so please be succinct and brief in your needs and expectations.<< Brotherton replies.

Arc gave a little smirk as she read the quick reply back from Mr. Brotherton, deciding that a reply wasn't very much needed at this point.  Just that she had to figure out what she wanted to have done before heading to Poland.

Which, as the drone returned towards her, reminded the mechanic that she had forgotten her own info!

Chuckling, she settled her expression before letting the drone snap a picture of her, retrieving the photo and glancing at it briefly.  Hmm, not so messed up as I usually am, wiz.  Now for a final future touch...  Thinking and imagining in her head for a moment, she pulled up a little photo-editing app and added a few touches to her picture before filing it with her own info and updating the datastick with the file.

Now with a full set of information, Arc held out the datastick for the male Russian to take.  "Now that this biz be out of the way, any other info we should be knowing on?"

Yelena nods and closes her eyes then touches first one scroll tattoo then the other and whispers the words she had memorized a half century ago.  The words came from a place inside her that would never forget them.  Even in the shadow, even in her darkest moments, she was able to cling to those words.  She could remember the day she first said them as if it were yesterday; could still remember the day the prison ink artist added the scrolls to her arms, and the pride of........belonging.  Saying the oaths brought tears to her hardened eyes; tears for the fallen and for those still to fall.  Shadow gave her strength and life and protection, but the words gave meaning to her life.  Yelena opens her eyes and looks hard into those of her former mentor, "No.  For Tsina Molovna there is no mercy.  No mercy.  No pity.  No salvation.  No death too horrid.  No pain too much.  Yelena thank Nikolai Fyodorovich."

Yelena looks at Arc as she comes up with the data stick and holds out a hand.  "Nikolai.  Is Arc.  Yelena sister in life.  Sister in blood.  Is good person.  Yelena trust with life."  She turns and includes the others in her arm sweep.  "Yelena Petrovna trust all with life."

Nicolai takes moment to truly look at Yelena and in that look is agreement. His family had been betrayed. There was no mercy, no salvation, no hope for a betrayed to cling to. They were dead the moment the act was conceived, and now The Ghost was going to carry out their sentence. He then looks at Arc. "All info is on cube. Comm code and name of contact. Itinerary, maps, passwords, security codes, schedules, weaponry, skills, code names, biometrics, is all there. Is belonging to the Silver Scorpion. Is right."

As she was introduced, Arc lifted her chin up with a hardened expression (one could almost hear the figurative "sup?" that normally comes with it) towards the Russian man.  As he shared the info on the cube, the mechanic took the liberty of picking it up, drawing back in the active AROs and closing it up.  Flipping it in her cyberhand once or twice, she gave a nod before moving to retreat.  "Wiz.  I'll keep an eye out for those SINs in three days then.  Now if you excuse me, I got a thing to be ready for."

Setting the cube aside with her kits, Arc started to head to her living space she shared with her Srui, grabbing her armorer's kit and making sure to make eye contact with Firefly.  With a flick of her head, she indicated for the Decker to join her, stopping when she reached the bedroom as she opened the kit.  Fishing through, she found a pair of cutters, some fibrous needling, and a polymer fusion welder.

"Adjusting your jumpsuit's gonna be nullsweat, maybe just a few minutes or so...I got some clothes over there if you wanna change into something else. Uh...I dunno, but there's what I got..."  Her attire existed in varying levels of cleanliness, but evidence of  set-in stains from her work were on several of the shirts.  Much of the jeans and pants had scuffs and holes as well, but the fabric was otherwise all sturdy and covering where it counted.

After she retrieved the garment, Arc cleared a space of her bed and set it out, getting to work on the adjustments, her hands moving with a quick and expert fashion and giving it the care such a suit deserved....it really wasn't that long before she seemed to be wrapping up, sealing the fibers up into a seamlessly inegrated piece...

Arc really is amazing...

Dressed once again in Yelena's purple sweats, I watch the younger of my two new mentors finishing up her clever adjustment of my jumpsuit's bust and just shake my head.  I can make the 'trix or the aether sing, but I've never been one to make anything happen with my hands.  Even my firearms instructor game up on me after three sessions trying to teach me even basic accuracy with a handgun.  It's a miracle I ever learned effective calligraphy enough to make legible Kanji.  I am pretty good with electronics, but even there my superb hardware theory and design has more than once run into the brick wall of my ability...or more accurately inability...piece my designs together.  In the end, more often than not I was the one who drew up the plans and technicians or others on my team actually did the assembly.

"Do you really think Nicolai will let us live through this mission, Arc-sensei?  Or will he arrange for one or more unfortunate events to pry Yelena-sensei from those that stand between him and her vengeful spirit?"

Arc didn't look up from her work as she worked the fusion welder, bringing together a seam to make it look like no alterations had been made whatsoever, a light smell of the polymer fabrics cooking as she formed a bond wafting into the air as she adopted a neutral expression.  To be fair, she had to admit she mostly dealt with heavier armor pieces...this jumpsuit was more for the well-off hopscotchers and whatnot, but the concepts seemed to be the same.  Sealing off the device, she slowly pulled it away from the suit, revealing her handiwork.  A set of four triangular patches were put in place, two under each arm, adding to the circumference of the form-fitting suit around the bust, hopefully enough to suit the decker just fine.

"Here, give this a try.."  She handed the suit to the younger one, giving a little nod.  "I honestly don't know, omae.  One look at this hoop be telling me he's dark as drek and would be capable of offing us if he thought us a threat.  I won't be resting easy around him, that's for fragging sure.."  She adopted a hard expression before closing her eyes, turning around to let the girl change in case she was shy.

"But....I think this drek's personal for him too.  Which means there's a shot that if we're what it takes to ensure Yelena's and his revenge, then that's what it'll be."  After a moment, she turned back to the decker.  "Either way, we'll have to apply Barren's Law for this drek: keep an eye out and your hoop covered.  We'll deal with the sitch when we get back to it, aight?"
