Arc looked and listened intently to the elf's words, but when she finished she dropped her gaze and gave a smirk, a sharp exhalation of breath coming off as a short chuckle.  "Tch...you're right about one thing, Y.  Srui'ken kal does work both ways.  And I want you alive as well.  I've seen how you fight, so I know you're gonna need me to drag your hoop back here when the job's done."  She paused for a bit, her gaze growing serious as she tapped a finger to the corner of her mouth.

"I may not have the tusks for it, but I was raised as much in the trog way as anyone else in the Howlers.  And in that, the biggest bond in here is family.  So when I say I'm going to help my Srui, it's because I'm going to help my Srui, and I couldn't look at m'self in the mirror if I didn't when i coulda done something to help.  Jaime knows how I feel on this, and he just asks for your promise that I'll be coming back ."  She paused, thinking for a second to try to express her words.  "I have love with him, yeah.  But I have love here.  Family is love too, Srui.  Don't forget that."

She paused again as her eyes went wide, some of her earlier statements, most of which eased her feelings about this night, hit her memory banks like a load of proverbial bricks.  "Woah, hold the drek..."  She looked away, and then snapped back.  "Feathers is alive.  Merlin got back to me with some surprise intel, but suggests to me that old hoop is still fighting back within their hands.  And they gon' be shipping out in a week.  We gotta do our drek before then...frag me, had completely slipped my mind.  But one step..we do this drek, then we go from there"

Yelena absorbs this knowledge then smiles.  "Is good news.  Where club men move to?  And Arc right.  Finish this then do other.  Marco has part on Tuesday.  Yelena got call from Bella husband.  Go another party Monday night.  Yelena leave drugs alone.  Maybe find information."

Arc shook her head dismissively at the elf at her question, giving a little shrug of her shoulders.  "Nnh...sources didn't give me that drek.  Just our deadline.   And some mojo help to do this drek.  Them takin' Feathers got real personal to Merlin, and he's in for whatever i want him to do about it."  She nodded, looking off to the side as she tapped the table.  "We all got one last job to do to get our drek together before we make a move then.  Wiz.  Glad you don't plan on usin'.  Good luck on that...but for now..."

After a moment, she gave a slam on the table to call to attention.  Looking at Yelena, she gave one last comment.  "Family is love Srui.  Remember that"  As the others roused and started to filter in towards her workstation, Arc got to her feet and stood up in the middle of them...being the shortest, this was probably quite hilarious in most eyes.  "We all know our jobs...let's get this all done...Firefly and Tuska, I'm linking y'all to my drone feeds in the sky, that way we all know what's going on.  When they move, we'll know.  Any last questions, complaints?"

Yelena nods and grabs up her go-bag containing a couple of warm towels and some dry clothes, including underwear, deciding to not go commando after her swim.  Her weapons case is next to her feet.  It will be coming along just in case the octopus thing does not work as planned and they have to chase the mage down.  She looks to the others and says, "Is good plan.  All we need is do it"

@ Arc  The program on the fly-spies sends Arc a simple image. In this lighting the matte black trailer truck looks completely innocuous even it's escort of two large vehicles and six people on bikes have no identifying markings or colors on them. But, the truck and it's escort are rolling out of the building Arc has had the fly-spies on for the last hour. Nevermind it's only 21:00.

@ Subaru  Searching for Marco reveals the most puzzling information. Marco himself has almost no history as anything but a professional escort. But, the same can not be said of the images of others. Subaru finds intel on eight different men wanted in connection with suspicious deaths. Several of the images of people captured with Marco show men in the garb of Catholic priests, and cross-referencing that reveals info that they have sometimes operated in the past disguised as priests.
Material on Tuskaloosa is easy to find, and easy to find out that she was framed for a murder and set-up to take the fall for a biking conglomerate looking to manipulate the stats on the betting leagues in order to take advantage of a dip in betting and scores of a biker named TexMex.

Arc has provided access to the drone network to everyone and all are watching as the convoy starts rolling.  Yelena runs the scenario through her head and walks over to shake Firefly awake, saying, "Everyone see drone data.  Convoy leave early.  Can decker girl slow down by changing lights?  Just a little.  Too much is suspicious.  Some is accepted.  We leave now.  Still make water in time."  She nods to the others and goes to open the large outer door so the King Scorpion and Americar can leave, then moves to place her things in the extra large storage containers on the huge bike.  Looking at Tuskaloosa, she smiles.  "Time roll.  Mission is go."

Marco silently packs his equipment, the sigma stashed under the jacket and the AK-97 hanged ready to use on his lap. It his evident from the way he carries the piece that he is alert and can draw rather quickly and his piece is non standard, smart link gas vent shock pads everything he needs to sustain the recoil of massive fire. The only thing that betray his tough guy look is the yellow mark of stick and shot ammo on the magazine. Marco adds a few extra clips of regular ammo 'just in case'.

Then poof, the AK-97 vanishes without a trace, while careful observation and the knowledge that the gun is there can show a 'tell' it is unlikely to spot the piece unless by thous especially trained for the deed. The one good thing about illusion magic is that it never works on yourself, so Marco can see the AK-97 and has no problem operating the invisible gun.

"I am ready... Lets do it." Looking at Yelena he asks "We are going with the scorpion right?"

To avoid drain Marco uses F3 invisibility, so only 3 hits are kept still seeing through the spell should take 4 hits so the gun should be very well hidden.

Drain: 11d6t5 2

"If the lights are controlled from a central server I should be able to..." I say as my body stumbles up from having been roused from my IR-induced sleep.  I bio as fast as I can and make a bee-line for the Americar.  Settling into the passenger front seat, I slip back into IR and get to work while the others move into position...

I'll roll later to achieve whatever I have to, unless someone else wants to do the honors.  I really can't afford to wake up enough right now to figure out all the rolls I'll need to do in order to pull this off.  Subaru has 12 dice to do just about anything in the 'trix, so a quick slip-in/slip-out should be do-able assuming there is a central server that helps control lights.

A quick trip to the bathroom and a few minutes to re-adjust the armor vest?  Check.  Crusader II and silencer?  Tuskaloosa touched the holster. Check.  Spare clips loaded?  Check.  Clips and Medkit in the Armor Jacket?  Check.  Oh yes, she thought as she picked up the sheathed ceramic knives and added them to the jacket as well: one for Yelena, and one for me.  Autopic?  Into the jacket. Better safe than sorry, but only that...any more lock breaking tools would be extra weight.
The FN-AAL?  Probably a bad idea, but if all went poorly, the mini-rocket gun could prove useful above or below the water's surface.  The loaded pistol went into the jacket, but without extra ammunition: If I need to shoot this more than ten times, things will have gone very, very wrong...
The new gloves were draped over the seat, along with her helmet:  Check.  Survival bubble package?  She stowed in one of the saddlebags:  Check.
   Guardian? Check.
The other hidden arm slide?  She sifted through the grenades from their afternoon shopping spree.  The Flash-Pak would either be the most effective in the dark, or the lest effective if the Jade Dragons and Co. all brought along some sort of flare compensation.   It could still be used as a potential distraction however, and hand-delivered grenades had never been her thing: the little box of fun had the least chance of coming back to bite her if she used it wrong. How's this thing work, any--

_   _   _

She woke to the sensation of something tapping the sole of her shoe.  “Wha--?”
“Convoy leave early,”  Yelena interrupted.  “Trailer truck, two truck sized, six riders.”

The news brought the troll wide awake faster than a bucket of ice water. “Can we catch them?”  she asked as she threw off the duster.
“We can for Plan A.  Decker Girl try to slow them a little with red lights.”
Tuskaloosa reached the bike and donned the jacket, careful not to disturb the Flash-pak on her left arm slide.  The effects of her earlier handling had cleared and it was currently set to trigger by wireless only; she still did not want a repeat.  Not now.
“...We all know our jobs.  Let's make our move and call it a night, aight?”  Arc gave a nod to Firefly and they took off.
Yelena stored a hard case on the King, then smiled.  “Time roll.  Mission is go.”
“Cut your lights when we hit the gravel road, ok?  See you there.”  She didn't wait for a reply as she pulled on her helmet, the king's wheels already turning slowly, rolling for the exit.

As the drone feeds filter in the information, Arc's expression visibly hardens.  Early, and more of an escort than led on to believe.  Frag it, Ninelives, you tryna get me killed aincha...  Pinching her brow, the mechanic let her breath out in a little sigh as Yelena roused the others and got a plan together.  Nodding appreciatively, she grabbed her stuff and strapped the medkit to her hip across from her other gear pouch.  "Aight, looks like we partying a little sooner than intended.  Null sweat though, ain't the worst to happen.  We'll get into position in time."

Looking to everyone, the short give gave little pause as she thought of something to say.  "...We all know our jobs.  Let's make our move and call it a night, aight?"  Smirking, she gave a look at Firefly and tilted her head, darting over to the Americar, mentally firing up the engines as she opened the doors to let the two girls in.  Since the others were getting to the drop point on the pair of Scorpions, they should make good time, leaving the job of Arc to get the decker and herself to following the convoy.  She instructed the drones to work a pursuit pattern, leapfrogging along the skies to keep in time with the pathing, allowing them to track the truck without issue or danger of detection.  All other business done, the mechanic shifted gears and rolled the car out, closing up once the team was gone and driving the car off into the night....

Yelena nods to Marco and moves to her Scorpion, wheeling it out of the garage and shutting the large door behind them.  Climbing onto the large bike she fires up the powerful engine and waits for Marco to slide on behind her and grab her about the waist.  Once they are ready, she wastes no time getting moving, heading out to the ocean front.  Yelena is careful, mindful of the effect the second person has on the maneuverability of the bike and stays within the semi-legal speed limit.

Arriving at the beach, she lets Marco off and secures the rig before tapping into the team net.  Nodding to Tuskaloosa and Marco, she says, >>Team Y in place.  Still a go for Op Oc?<<  She has not used those codes before, but the rest are smart enough to figure them out.  If they get the go, she strips naked and heads to the water where Marco or his demon will turn her into the octopus and establish the mind link.

Marco reaches the position with Yelena, and picks a relatively hidden spot. Instead of being down at the water, Marco picks a place where he can possibly open fire at the van, but he still has line of sight to Yelena. He positions himself on a nearby roof top where if needed.  He is ready to rain his fake ammo at any vehicle crossing the road.  Marco will wait for the all clear before having the spirit turn Yelena into an Octopus and cast the mindlink spell.

Once in position Marco texts >> FF - if you can ID the prize in astral it will help me a lot.
The reason Marco asks it, is that if Firefly can ID the mage to be extracted, Marco will have an additional service from the spirit to increase his chances of staying hidden.

Marco will use his disguise skill to make himself hidden in the terrain.
Disguise: 7d6t5 3 to pick an hidden spot and assimilate with the background.

Marco has 3 services, the first one will be to identify the mage and send him and Yelena a mental picture. The second one to cast shape change at Yelena, and the third one will be to cast the mind link at Yelena. Altough the services will be up, the phrasing will state to sustain the spells until Marco gives the all clear (or the rules of summoning break the connection at sunrise).

The flyspies track the convoy down the road. They're moving in a loose formation, two bikes and a truck in the lead and the same formation in back with the other two bikes riding along the side and obviously checking side streets as the large RV passes them. The convoy goes less than two miles before one of the flyspies malfunctions dropping from the sky to shatter on the ground.

With Firefly focusing her attention on the traffic lights, Arc found the lack of noise in her Americar to be a bit of a discomfort...thankfully one easily remedied by an activation of the vehicle's radio.  Classic metal riffs played through, namely a number from a 20th century group with the title Breaking the Law.  How appropriate... she thought dryly as Yelen's voice crackles in over the comms.

"Comm check, I read ya Wanderer.  Still a go for Op Alpha, getting into position now...looks like a cut n dry setup...wait, hold up..."

Arc paused as she saw one of the Fly Spys camera feeds start to spas out for a few moments before cutting out dead...and the swiftly approaching ground in the last few images were not promising.  Thumping her fist against the door, the mechanic cursed in the orkish tongue, a lounge string of guttural syllables.

"Well drek.  Scout 2 is down.  Repeat, I have a scout 2 down.  No reason for a glitch, so I might suspect foul play.  I'm about a kilo away, out of sight but if they suspectin I don't wanna make eye contact.  Firefly, this close enough to get a hold of the target?"

Her fingers were tight on the wheel as she drove on, merging with the highway a kilometer behind the convoy, being sure to sustain that distance...

Yelena wades a short distance into the water then turns around, looking at Marco.  "Is mojo time."
