It was a cold wait. The shadows silently waiting were silent and unwilling to clothe Yelena in warmth and everyone was cold by the time Blake and his team arrived. Blake looked at Marco and Arc and nodded towards Dana. "Is this our package?" Directing the team to spread out and cover them as he spoke.

Her thought processes interrupted, Arc listened and registered Tuska's response, no matter the length it was, before lurching forward to meet Blake face to face.  Even after the copious amounts of healing she received, she still looked quite beat up under the street light illuminating the scene, bits of dried blood dotting her jacket and head.  Taking her smoke out of her mouth with her right hand, she gestured with it towards the form Marco was leading.

"Hello to you too chummer.  Yeah, this be it.  Y'all want it gift wrapped or some drek?"  Forcing a smirk, she put her left hand to her head before she drew closer to the older ork, bringing her voice low for his ears only.  "My employers was expecting her at a warehouse two blocks from our Dust problem...was thinking I'd ring them up, saying I just came to after my car blew up, and found her gone.  Car's gone, so that'll stick.  Whaddya think?"

Taking a glance to the others, she shivered for a moment in the December chill, shaking her head.  "I coulda milked seventeen kilos out with her, so hope she was worth it and we're taking this place down quick.  What else do you need before we can end this drek?"

@ Arc  Blake looks down at her and sticks his chin out in thoughtful understanding of what she's saying, his hand signaling the men to take Dana into custody. " He pauses and then continues, watching her response. "After I get the info from the firm I should have enough for us to bust everyone and their great-grandmothers. But cred for this job will be transferred after tomorrow. You will not have to wait for the busts to get paid." The men have Dana trussed up tighter than a turkey on Thanksgiving and have her in the van before Blake is even finished speaking. Blake signals the all in and continues, "I've also got a guy scrubbing all the signals and cams in this area so that it's all squeaky clean." He says turning slightly to look at someone hidden in shadows in the back of the van. A moment later from her comm Arc hears, >>Get an auto-soft if you want to ping anything. More skill, less hassle. Although it did let me have a little fun.<< Suddenly in her vision field the pings she'd noted grew brighter and then, Oh drek, put a damn smiley face right in front of me an I be thinking we in the clear 'cause ta pings don' be showing weapons an drek.

As she looked to the figure in the back and got the message, Arc stifled a bark of a laugh as she shook her head, grinning.  "Tsin'ka tarish..."  without even hesitating, she made a quick reply to the figure.

<<hoi, tip is noted, omae.  Glad I could be of entertainment.  Least ya coulda done is buy me a drink, hah.  Do I get a name, or is there where you pull that old Batman drek?>>

Finished with that, she looked up and gave a nod to Blake, understanding the situation...or at least believing so.  "So what you're saying is that our part is pretty much done and yall people can take it from here?  Tell me if I'm wrong..I'm pinging the Dust here in just a sec, let's see what they think, but I think maybe yous in the clear.."

Taking her messenger, she pulled up NineLive's code after making a reboot of her systems, sending him a message.

<<@NineLives:  Arc here.  Situation is fragged to hell.  I just came too, I think that sitch woke up and blew up my car.  Just woke up on street hurting as hell.  In no shape to continue, car is slag.  Yall dont need to pay me, I know this slitch botched it.  I'm gonna make my way outta here and patch myself up in the next few days.  Out>>

Sending that off, she nodded up to the ork before turning her head, glancing at her companions.

"we clear, chummers.  Get over here.."  waiting for the group to join her, she gestured towards the ork.  "Blake, meet Firefly and Tuskaloosa.  They were instrumental in several of these ops, and I wouldn't be standin here without em.  Everyone here did a drek ton, actually.  What happens now?"

Blake looks at Arc and says, "As clear as I can make it for now anyway. All I need to do now is get the package gift-wrapped and delivered. Then the op at the firm and all the rest is for the man upstairs to handle. Good luck, you guys did a bang up job with what I'd say was minimal loss of life. And aerosolizing what ever drug you used to get that gang to go mass orgy was brilliant. Huge distraction and no body count. But, we can toast each other over beers another day. I gotta move."

Arc receives a comm, >>Names BadRobot.<< You get an AR of a butler bringing you a beer on a silver salver complete with spats and a superior look on his face. But, just as the butler reaches you and does a slight bow to offer you the drink a horned metal monstrositycomes in on wheels and snatches the drink away. You see, 'meep, meep' pasted as an old fashioned speech bubble in it's wake.

In a moment you get a comm from NineLives, >>I'm going to need an in person talk about this right now if you ever want to do business here again. Omae.<<

Arc couldn't help but grin as they were congratulated for their work, crossing her arms and balancing the cigarette on her lips as she swelled with pride.  She acknowledged BadRobot'a introduction with a chuckle.

<<heheh, alright, omae.  Hit me up if you need some tech fixed.  Least I could do>>

Her smile faltered a bit as she looked at NineLives' response.  Even in the mute form of a text message, she could tell he was pissed.  The others would note a flicker of fear on her face.  They were close to ending this.

"Hoi Blake, hold up.." she pulled up the message and splayed it, frowning.  "he wants me over the now.  This could be bad. If I ignore him, he starts digging.  If I go, he may see I'm full of drek.  Recommended course of action?  I'm not about to die here omae..."

Blake looks at Arc with a worried frown. "I can't arrest him or come in with guns blazing without tipping our hand. And I need to button down the package right now. But, you're right, showing, or not showing is very liable to get you killed. I could call in a few favors to get a fight started in there. ShadowDancer tells me the system is unhackable from the outside so I can't give you any help that way. But, right now short of blowing something up that's all I've got. I'm going to express deliver the package. Let me which option you want so I make calls or get equipment asap."

Arc grit her teeth as she mulled over the two options, exchanging glances with her team as she worked out the road and cons of each option.  It was seconds before she let out her brea the in a sharposition exhale through the nose, emitting a bit of smoke.

"it ain't a choice.  Ninelives knows me from the street.  So he knows that imma slitch of my word.  I'm going.  I'll get my hoop boutta mile or so from here and have them pick me up."  she had a thought.  "hoi, you got access to those encrypted links that Sam or Stewart or whoever hooked us up with?  If so, yall can listen in on me.  Iffen the sitch  goes to Qualz, them you do your thing and I get out.  We do that?"

Turning to the others, Arc's expression was grim, but very determined.  "Far as Ninelives cares, he's only been dealing with me.  So I gotta do this myself.  Ain't no need to be putting your hoops at risk for mine.  Dint worry though.  I'm gonna get home.  I got friends to get to know, family to be with.  It'll be aight. "  her right hand lifted into a thumbs up as she flashed a little grin before turning back to Blake.

Blake nods at Arc and says, "Need a lift? We're going north but I can have a cab meet us at the overpass."

To be true, Arc didn't even think of taking a cab...that would get her to the Stardust on her own terms...something else that NineLives would find fitting and appreciative.  However, her expression notably curdled at the thought of depending on people for rides...she was so used to being independent.

"Frag, I need a new seta wheels..."  She muttered to herself before looking up at him, giving a nod.  "Sounds like that might be alright.  I'll work my own way home...just give me a sec to talk to mah peeps here, aight?"

Turning to the others, it didn't take a genius to see she was putting on a brave front. Her cigarette spent, she tossed the butt on the ground and dug into it with her heel.  "I know we a team..but if this club be as crazy as they say it is, I wouldn't be able to rest knowing I put chummers like you at risk.  It's drek...I know that..."  She lowered her gaze and gave her head a scratch, thinking about the words.

"Ah...well, should the worst happen...Y'all get a fair split of the garage.  Tuska, I left my plans for the bike on a datastick, and got most of tha materials already.  If you can work it, it's yours, same with the drone.  Firefly, Hrock's dropping off a package at my place tomorrow.  It's yours, don't want you to forget it, aight?  Marco, I don't got much mojo stuff I would think useful for ya, but I got a pretty good trid library of tech stuff, if you wantin' it.  That and the dress I used for the club, you appreciated it better than I.  Yelena...Srui, I want you to hold onto this."  She reached back, pulling out her Ares Predator, complete with holster and extra clips and offering it to her.  "At best, you're holding it for me, aight?"

Yelena looks closely at Arc for a moment then takes the gun and nods.  She looks at the others before saying, "Yelena keep for Srui.  Give back after club.  Yelena drive Arc club on bike.  Tuskaloosa drive Firefly.  Marco say take taxi. Arc not argue."

So much happening so fast.  So much we should talk about, but no time.  I hate it when missions go like this...

"Yelena-sensei, are you planning for us to go in with Arc as a team, or to mix in with the crowd?  If the latter, we'll need to change.  And just so you know, I have full access to the security system for the club level of the Stardust, but I'm blind in the basement other than the drunk tank."  Even as I share this knowledge I register onto said system and start scanning through the cameras in AR.

And as soon as she tries to log onto the Stardust Firefly hits a blank wall and remembers that the Stardust has a completely closed system, the only way it can be accessed is from inside. It's why Matsumura had to take her as a date to the club. To get her in without suspicion and have people give them the privacy she needed to work. Corps are to big for that kind of closed system to work. They just needed to much data back and forth from the rest of the world. But, a small place like the club, where usage is security and inventory and scheduling, they can lock down tighter than a vacuum sealed pressure airlock on a sub-orbital transport and make it stick.

Yelena shakes her head.  "No.  Yelena not think team need go.  Club man mad, but not kill Arc.  Trids full of our success.  He know we got mage.  Mage smarter than thought.  Arc make mistake.  Club man not kill for mistake.  Chew out.  Not pay.  Maybe ask questions.  Arc have drone.  We watch.  Go if Arc need help."  She looks around.  "Better idea?"

"You know better than that Arc,"  Tuskaloosa growls, her helmet giving her words even more of a ring. "If you go in already thinking it's over, then you aren't coming out."  The troll softens her tone.  "You know the guy best, but what Yelena says sounds sensible.  Besides, from what you've said, this Stardust place is pretty fancy...No offense to you Arc, but you're a half-crispy piece of street gristle right now.  Would he even want you in the back door, much less through the front?"
