So, I got back from Gen Con last week, but I'm also busy getting ready to move to Wichita KS from Portland OR (Army guy, so moving happens from time to time)...

I'm keeping tabs on what's going on and really enjoying the interactions of the other characters, but right now, it looks like there isn't much for Gabriela to do until the next time the group meets up, or until one of them decides it'll be a good idea to scope a place out or get into some B&E.

I'm definitely here, though, reading and am ready to post when the time comes.

Sounds like you're going to Fort Riley. Yuck. I don't know why the Army always puts their installations in like the worst locations ever (although the Air Force has a few that almost can't be believed).

I'm actually in the AGR Program.  After spending 11 years on active duty and a deployment to Afghanistan, I discovered this sweet program where you are Active Duty, but work for the Reserves as their Full Time Staff.  All of the bennies, only 25% of the BS.

Wichita KS to support a logistics unit, we'll be deploying next year tho.  Then, this will be my last assignment before nabbing that 20yr active retirement.  Can't wait.

As for the Club Frisco Host, it is not running silent.

the Host is open to the public, and Wraith can enter freely.Its outside sculputing is rather demure actually. Stucco facade and a very art deco feel dominate, while the neon-lit piping is almost an afterthought.

Wraith can find the general layout buried in some ADA equivalent file on the host no problem.  It isn't protected and open for viewing.  Five hits is also enough to be able to find a separate file that appears to be actual blueprints.  It is Protected.

Matrix Perception does alert Wraith to some icons that are Running Silent.

You can add Winton as a Loyalty 1, Connection 3 contact, and make a note that he owes you a Rating Two Favor.  Also, glad you enjoyed it.  Well played, btw.  I was wondering if you were going to end up with a potential future antagonist as opposed to a contact.

All, I've got a brief IC post incoming, but it's time to get the team together again.  Should we just abstract that calls are made and you guys find a place to get together, or does somebody want to take the lead there?  Regardless, where do y'all want to meet? 

ETA; Jack, there's also the informant on Tezuka to handle.  I know we're running the Club Frisco Host right now, but let's not lose sight of that one.

Wraith's next actions will be to attempt to pick out cameras and sensors from the silently running icons. All still legal. Not going to try to MARK or spoof any of those devices yet.

I'm not entirely sure how this works... trying to spot all of them. I don't know if it counts as try again or not since they're different icons. I'll roll a few full rolls to start off.

Ok, so I had a sec to spare earlier than expected.  I roll Host Rating + Attribute for this test, correct?  Since you're working with separate icons, there is no need to take 1 die away per attempt.

That was what I was thinking at first, but then I started wondering about the Host-Slave relationship. I'm totally willing to go with it however you want to go with it, but if the cameras are slaved to the Host, Wraith would be considered to be directly connected to them and they would only use their device rating to resist (since they probably don't have their own Sleaze rating). If she were outside the Host trying to spot them, they would benefit from the sleaze rating of the Host.

Like I said though, I'm willing to go with whatever you want to go with on this one. I was expecting a resistance test of 7 dice before I started considering it.
