to be clear i want the hammer for look like mjolnir not act like it. And made from metal(steel) i want my character to have made it before the game started.

Actually, chopping off the handle would make it less accurate AND less damaging.

Just going off the "look" of Thor's hammer from the films, you are talking about a 20 pound chunk of metal attached to a 20 inch haft... making it heavy, unweldly, and awkward.

Goto a hardware store, buy a 5lb sledgehammer, lop off the handle, and give it a few swings and hit something HARD. Bet you won't do it twice :P
Where am I going? And why am I in a hand basket ???

Remember: You can't fix Stupid. But you can beat on it with a 2x4 until it smartens up! Or dies.

Remember that according to the legend, the forehaft was indeed short; if you go with the Marvel superheroic version, the looped lanyard is probably the only thing that'll prevent it from leaving your grip completely.  As Reaver says, twenty pounds on the end of a short haft is going to be tough to control.  I might give it +1 DV for the weight, but I'd definitely give it -1 or -2 ACC for the loss of control.

if You can accept a Mix of SR4A and SR5 Rules:
base Hammer 40 ¥ , Pimp 1 ( 100 ¥) to make it look like Thors Hammer and another 100 Bucks for a personalised Grip. Lets round it up to 250 ¥ and You have your base Thor's Hammer which has ACC +1 compared to a standard Sledgehammer.
Now you add up the cost to make it a Weapon Focus  (and some Karma according to the Rules in the BBB) and you're done.
Thats how I would've handle your request

well im thinking Str+4 Acc 4(5)personalized grip, here is my reasoning. people have used warhammers for a long time and like i said i want it reminiscent of it not a replica. So the head will be balanced with designs etched to replicate thors hammer

No offense, but it isn't the fact that the head's not balanced, it's the fact that you can't easily swing 5 (or 20) pounds of ANYTHING with a full-strength damaging-force swing and have control if you only have a handle under 20".  Warhammers weigh, in their entirety, under 3 lbs or so; if the head alone is a huge 20 lbs chunk of steel - or even a big 5 lb chunk of steel - in order to get the control you need in order to wield it with any degree of accuracy, you're going to need to have a full-length haft.

Go with 'sledgehammer', customize the grip for your +1 Accuracy, then enchant it for your weapon focus.  If you really want, and if your GM allows it (I always do), make the haft equivalent to a telescoping staff, so you can collapse it down to something vaguely concealable.

Edit: Rogue Fitness has a 'War Hammer' that might be appropriate.  Roughly 4' haft, head going up to about 30lbs.  And serious control needed, as the comments mention ...
