I added a post to cover another possible source on Return Safe.  I was thinking that perhaps the feds might have something and called on Special Agent Barnaby Mason.  This has led me to wonder how you are working with contacts and gaining new contacts for our characters.  I am thinking that there are a couple of new ones that look good and I am already thinking of ways to add them into the story to justify getting them later.  Do you allow us to use karma for additional contacts?

I just love the way you and some of the players are adding some good contact concepts and would like to actually work with some of them.  I hope it is OK to add them into my stories?

There will be opportunities to gain contacts as we go forward.  I don't mind making use of them in stories in ways that take into account your current level of loyalty or mechanics translated to fluff, but it's probably better to wait till a better opportunity comes up, IG.
That's just like... your opinion, man.

Actually, just read the IC.  That steps over the bounds of what is possible with the contact system.  Making use of him as a contact when you don't have him sort of cheapens the loyalty ratings.  I thought you meant in your fictions, where that might have been OK to have met up with him to discuss the favors and maybe set the stage for me introducing something in game for you to gain the mechanics... which would be suitable.

Cool.  I will delete the post.  Looking at it in that light I can see how inappropriate it was.

I modified my IC post to go a slight bit further.  I added some things about going to the Silk Dragon Dojo and speaking for a few minutes with Jitan.  I hope that I have not stepped on any toes for tossing in some things from a contact created by another character.  If the comments are inappropriate I can remove them.
Nothing in there that bothers me!  With Requiem's instruction skill of 2 I'm not sure he actually is the best teacher but he tries :D

Also need to consider transport...he only has an off road bike...not all that suitable for turning up to a ballet recital on :P  the Mirage might be a bit cramped for 2 so he'll get a taxi!  Assuming middle lifestyle will cover taxi fares???  I'd rather not take the bus or have to worry about crossing off cash...really must buy a car asap, there's something less 'slummy' about them, even the cheap ones!

I feel like middle covers public transportation and maybe a taxi fare or two... taking a taxi now and again when you otherwise have a vehicle should be fine.

Right now, I think we are just going to the mall to meet the others for the afternoon look-see.  Then it is home to change for the recital and the evening look-see.  Of course, plans could change once we have our initial look around.

Sorry for any late responses on my part. I'm suppose to get an email when there is a new post but it does not always tell.

Have a map.

Zoom on Bellevue Square.  I'll update this as I can.  And hey, you have editing rights, so you can put stuff like... where you live, on this map.

Also, sorry I didn't post this week, really... I was super beyond busy at work.  The summer gets a bit crazy for me.

That said, it looks like you guys were mostly good on your own with some awesome character driven posts.

So here is a basic run down off Seattle:

Downtown has between Luxury and Low life styles; Security Zones between AAA - C depending on where you live. Bellevue , Renton, Snohomish, and Tacoma are the same.

Everet, Auburn Has between Luxury and Squatter styles; Security Zones between AAA - D depending on where you live.

Fort Lewis has Life Styles between of Middle only and security ratings of AA and A.

Redmond, Ork Underground, and Pupallup have Low to Street level Life styles and Security Ratings C- Z Depending on where you live.

Thanks for the info Skulldixon.
I'm like Ligthouse, no much clue where it would be appropriate to have Kachina's appartment. Considering she goes to Renton for Coffee, I think a low lifestyle nearby would work. Any idea which area would be best?

Tanya lives at Pier 69 in the Gates Undersound Hotel.  How do we add a map dot for ourselves?

Edit:  Added the Gates Undersound Hotel

The Merideth or Christopher Neighborhoods are the low class areas. these are both between the 187 and the green river

Edit: I added Renton to the map
