6 - The guy going at it with Bear tries shooting Bear AGAIN while continuing to backpedal to the snowmobile, which he will reach this pass. He appears to be moving to get on it to retreat.

Bear could attempt to disable the snowmobile, but he'd rather let the guy get away so he can focus on the spirits. Of course, the spirits are mostly handled, but Bear still wants to see a quicker end to the fight, so he'll halfheartedly swing at the guy again. And really, he can probably chase the guy down if he needs to.

Doc Hack soaking: 3 hits

Ohanzee smokes Doc Hack for 6P. Combined with Hack's existing 9P damage, he is now at 15P and is totally disrupted. He vanishes, screaming into the flames.

Now for Bear.

Smaller guy on the right dodging Bear: 5 hits, safe for another second or two

Katsina initiative: Initiative: 3d6+14 28, man, she's been killing her initiative rolls.

Summary of the situation
- The smaller men on the flanks (the dodgy bastards wearing chameleon suits) both seem to be in active retreat. They're trying to escape via snowmobile.
- Doc has three MARKs on the drone but it's not technically disabled and/or controlled yet.
- Presumably the rigger and the decker are still in the van, which has now been completely disabled. How they are doing after being dumped by Doc and having Sam's grenade go off is unknown.



CT3 IP1

29 - Doc's agent again. It finds:

1) a directional jammer in the Bulldog slaved to the Transys Avalon there
2) a tag eraser, unslaved
3) a white noise generator, unslaved

28 - Katsina

Kat was debating whether to use Influence to encourage the remaining goons to surrender, or Mana Band to help tie them up for easier murdering. Per Ace's comm, she's going to go the Influence route.

She jumped off the Bulldog and took a few steps toward Sam, so her vision is aligned with the guy going at it with Bear (rather than the dude Chino is trying to smash).

Free: "Throw down your weapons and surrender!"
Complex: cast Influence

Casting Influence @ F5: Magic 7 + Spellcasting 6 + Mentor Spirit 2: 15d6t5 3 hits, boo

Resisting Influence: 0 hits, oh, hey, it worked

Katsina soaking 4S drain: Willpower 6 + Intuition 8: 14d6t5 7 hits, no drain

27 - As luck would have it, the person who was just targeted is up next. Also, it turns out that he is actually a she. (Chameleon suits make it hard to tell.) Given that she's trying to exit, pursued by a bear, surrendering sounds like a valid option.

Free: Drop Ares Alpha, "Oye! I geev up!" (Aztlaner Spanish accent)

She's going Full Defense, which will delay her Complex action to 17.

22 - Doc is just a tick too slow. The drone, having lost its rigger, is now back on autopilot. The autopilot command was "shoot Ace" and so shoot Ace it shall.

Drone shooting Long Burst at Ace: 4 hits

Ace is at -5 to dodge from the burst and -2 for being prone (since the drone is shooting him from above, where being prone increases his cross-section instead of decreasing it) but +4 cover from trees above and +4 combat sense, so +1 net. (Last time we rolled I think I said you only had Combat Sense 3, but I have it on Katsina's sheet as Combat Sense 4.)

It's stick-n-shock so DV is 9S(e) -4AP + net hits.

There are a couple ways to go about this:

1) If you just want to give the drone instructions of what to do on its own (with its dogbrain) - e.g. "switch targets" - then your roll is great. Since you've spent your Free Actions I'll say it can be done with a Simple, which frees up another Simple action to either make a longer transmission or to give your Agent new instructions.

2) If you actually want to do the shooting yourself then there's (sigh) a Gunnery + Agility test, as counterintuitive as it is to use Physical attributes while decking.
