Hi,

in SR4 there was that two handed weapon in one hand rule including an extra passage about Trolls (who suffered -1 instead of the default -2).
Now I'm looking for anything equivalent in SR4, I got a Wendigo with insane Strength (and Body) stats that wants to use an HMG in one hand.

I can't find the rule(s) is there none or am I just not looking in the correct spot. (I looked in core, run faster and run & gun.)

Also just because I'm at it, could he dual wield a Ruhrmetall SF-20 ?
Or is that you can't dualwield anything above SMGs rule still there anywhere?

(just fyi Body is 10 and Strength is 13)

I don't know of any rules for this, but I would (at least) double triple recoil mods if attempted.
I think there at least used to be something about large weapons having double recoil mods normally anyway. (under vehicle rules??)
Nothing is foolproof. Fools are so ingenious.

Nothing exsists for that in 5e....

So use the 4e rule if you wish.
Where am I going? And why am I in a hand basket ???

Remember: You can't fix Stupid. But you can beat on it with a 2x4 until it smartens up! Or dies.

Heavy Machine Guns are, well... heavy. Like, really heavy. Like, if you mount them on a truck you have a decent chance of damaging the truck when you fire them-heavy.

I mean, you need a STR of 10 to even use one twohanded without mounting it on something.

I don't think you can one-hand it, even with STR13.

Yup, no rule lets you do it and common sense also indicates no.
