So, what happens, by the rules, if a character has Granite Shell and Cyber limbs with Armour?
It's definitely not "worn".

Same thing if you have troll armor + cyberlimbs I think.

Concepts are great, but implementation sucks. Why not improve it?

Well, it stacks, the question if it is 4 hardened, but 4+x soak dice (+2 hits), or if it's 4+x hardened.
It's not worn, so it might actually stack that way.
