Hey Chummers,
So, I could really use some help wrapping my head around Murder Armor?

1. Is it Full Body Armor?
2. Can it stack with Form Fitting Armor?
3.What about using it with SecureTech PPP?
4.Can u use the Capacity 4 in Murder Armor form say Thermal Damping 2, Chemical Protection 2 or does the Gore Pack take up that capacity?

I do not even think the Gore Pack uses Capacity ,but really need clarification on this set of gear before I invest the Nuyen. Not trying to "Break" The Armor system ,but I would not say No to a 20+ Armor Set!

1 - from the picture I would say yes.
2 - no because FFBA is an armor in itself
3 - no, because of 1
4 - you can fill it with anything you like. GorePack has already been paid for

So unless you add forearm guards and either a helmet or mask the armor stays at 13

Edit: that being said I could actually imagine the armor comes in many shapes, though all of them covering the entire body except for hands, feet and head, shapes such as suits or long coats

If Tom Brady’s a Spike Baby, what does that make Brees and Rodgers?

Full Body Armour is listed on p437, core. Other armours may be considered full body, but I would hazard guessing that a defining feature of full body armour is that it; a) covers your entire body, and b) has a helmet that goes with it.

With this definition, we can include space suits and extreme environment (diving suits & any suit specialised to a specific type of armour modification - chemical, electrical, fire, radiation, etc)  suits, survival suits (desert, arctic, etc), security (riot, SWAT, bunker, & milspec) armour, and others.
You may want to use a second definition, where the amount of armour provided defines whether or not something is 'full body'. FBA / SWAT / Light Milspec are 15, Riot is 14, and Sleeping Tiger / Murder Armour are 13 - any of those could be a valid cut off.

I also think it's worth leaving open to interpretation as to whether the bullet hole ridden armour you see is real armour, or whether the thick coveralls you see underneath contain gorepaks, with armour below that. After all, if it's that easy to pick out someone in murder armour, you can bet people will know what to look for, and it will be relegated to fooling amateurs only.

To my mind, Full Body Armor is any armor that can take Chemical Seal.

Chemical seal: Available only to full body armor that includes a helmet
I'd never say that's wrong, but 'full body armour is any full body armour that includes a helmet' sounds ... ::)

There should be two distinctions, full covering and full body Chamelon Suit is full covering as it completely covers you head to toe with the hood otherwise its function of being a sneak suit as well as Ruthenium Polymer Coating would be moot but its not a full body armor cause you can add Secure Tech Arms and Legs pieces to it

by that logic I like to direct you to the following for your consideration
Drysuit — 4 6 2,500¥
Features: Drysuits feature a Chemical Seal (with the hood up and face mask attached), Custom
Protection (Insulation 4)
Wireless Bonus: Transmits environmental information.
So by that logic a dry suit is full body armor and cannot be worn underneath anything even though it doesnt have an armor rating besides insulation

[/quote] I see it as like from that movie FX I mostly use this piece as a distraction another runner drives by and shoots you up making you look like a victim of a drive by drawing guards out as they rush to your aid or if your tasked with killing a target but dont want to kill them but you still want the target believed to be dead and recorded being shot see being shot up in public (and then having your runner team come in a diguised van looking like doc wagon extracting the target)

just cause of what it is, NO, you don't want anything overt it.

However, you could wear this drysuit OVER other armor just fine.

(because, you know, if you need a drysuit, chances are the environment is not "good" for your normal, everyday wear. so wearing your everyday gear OVER the drysuit would mean your gear could get trashed... or your gear could accidentally puncture the drysuit (!@##!) and that would be... bad)
Where am I going? And why am I in a hand basket ???
