Athos sends an affirmative to Kynos then concentrates on pulling the small craft to a slow halt, waving to the KE thugs as they prepare to come aboard.  He catches Minnie's subtle zipper move and smiles.  If only she would use that on him he could die happy.

It is clear that the KE are a bit confused and struggling "There was a distress call from around here mind if we take a look?" Say one of them and the other say "Ids please"  and as you hand him your SIN's for scan he ask you to spread your hands and stand in a manner that allows him to easily search you. Apparently Minnie is very suspicious and it is evident that she receives a more thorough search.  It is difficult because trogs usually are considered guilty until proven otherwise.
"You haven't seen an injured or dead person around these waters have you?"  asks the first.

"No officer," I answer doing my best to keep the officers' interest in the flashes of flesh.  "There have been a lot of other boats, though.  Seems they like talking with me for some reason.  We've been talking with friendly people more than we've been by ourselves all afternoon.  Maybe they might know something?"

Athos just nods at Minnie's words, believing that his best tactic is to let her do the talking.

"Know something?..." He grins and get close to Yulia " I cannot say that I blame them." He say.  In the meantime his partner seems to be getting a bit restless and already leaves for the KE boat. "Benny, we have work to do" ... "Just a minute I am talking" he say as he devours Yulia's with his eyes, and invades what most people would call a personal space. Not Yulia, she is used to so much worse but some ladies would already feel harassed with this level of physical proximity. 

He grabs Yulia and whispers "as sexy as you are... it is the logo on your boat Micro Whales were very popular before they went bankrupt... They had the best underwater experience in the business... but even they could not compete with the BTL industry... why get out of the living room when you can expirience an even more exciting underwater adventure in your underwear"  His hand is stroking Yulia's back and he say "I for once prefers the real experience."

"BENNY!... remember ?! we have a job."  screamed the other one. Reluctantly,  Benny gives you an apologetic look and say. "It is a shame that I am so busy... I feel this special chemistry between us... call me this evening so we can continue where we left?"

Athos watches the by-play between the KE and Minnie with some difficulty.  He would like to toss the man overboard but resists the temptation.  After all, his friend had certainly provided the distraction that kept the KE from noticing that there was an extra set of clothing on the boat.  He waited until the other boat had moved away then motored over to where Kynos had indicated he would be waiting.  On the way, he sends a note to the man.  >>Kynos.  KE threat is gone for the time being.  I think it will be safe to surface in a few minutes.<<

He looks over at his best friend.  "Thank you, Minnie.  I do not know how you do it.  Putting up with the way people look at you and the way they think they can just touch you and how they believe that you really do not mind.  You are too.........special........to have to put up with that."

<<Great. But they'll be back the minute I go over 10m. We need some kind of Faraday cage or some active jammer. Look if you can find a cooler box. Lower it into the water on a rope. I'll move the head inside and close it. You can trail it on a rope underwater until we have a suitable transport. Love Kynos>>

Kynos wasn't unduly worried. If necessary he'd search for some recognizable place and stash the head there. He just wasn't very enthusiastic to go on a second underwater adventure. It just wasn't his element.

Athos slows the boat's speed and looks about, finding just what was ordered; a small lunch cooler.  It had been sitting in the below-deck storage locker for a while and was crammed with fishing supplies. He carefully removes everything from the small box, storing the stuff in various nooks and crannies then ties the rope they had brought to the handle.  After checking the knot, he lowers the box over the edge, lets it fill with water, and drops it.  As he secures the rope to the boat, he sends a note off.>>Cooler coming down.<<

It took Kynos a few tries to place the head inside the cooler and close the lid, but he managed it without damaging anything or tearing the line. Right on time the manometer told him that he was nearly out of compressed air, so he gave the little ship the command to resurface.

Brackish water cascaded from its sides as Kynos opened the drivers compartment and took of the mask: "Well, one thing I can say: Working for you sure is not boring. Hey Minnie, be a dear and give me a hand."
It spoke volumes about Kynos' good mood that he actually glanced at the mouse adepts cleavage - and with a smile at that.

Meanwhile...

Irked at being ignored, Maxwell went back to his new home to see how well stocked and supplied it was.  To his embarrassment it actually had all the things he wanted except better.  The window in the bathroom wasn't broken, the lights didn't flicker when turned on, the fridge had actual food and kept things cold.  It was even a little bigger and had a basement too.  Maxwell started feeling a little remorseful for his rude behavior earlier, because he wasn't expecting such nice accommodations.

"Thats twice where I've repaid her kindness with hostility.  Dammit I feel like an ass now."

After he was done contemplating his words and actions he rummaged through his stuff for a relatively clean set of clothes.  Grabbing a pair of dark blue jeans and a black t-shirt along with some black socks and black boxers.  Once he had everything ready he ran over to the bathroom and took a hot shower, turning the temperature to near scalding levels.  With a day and a half worth of stench and sweat finally washed off he began to relax some more.  Maxwell clothed himself in his new digs after his bath and walked over to the kitchen to see what he could raid. 

"Wait is that whole wheat bread?  Lunch-meat and real cheese?  Lettuce and tomatoes?  Fuck its sandwich time."

Gleefully he rounded up all of the components to make his meal.  Taking his time for once to make sure he has everything set up right before indulging himself.  Spending about 15 minutes to prepare his food before chowing down.  Once his appetite was satiated he unpacked everything he owned and started to setup his things everywhere.

I haven't dealt with water craft in fifteen years, but I do my best to help Athos' colleague with the cooler.  It isn't lost on me that he's enjoying the view given I haven't bother to zip back up after dealing with the KE, but honestly I don't mind.  He's done a great job and deserves a perk or two.  Anyway, this is work and this jacket is hot...

Athos looks at the surfacing sub and grins as Kynos' eyes catch and hold onto the view of Minnie's chest.  He shakes his head and considers how often her female charms have assisted her.  He looks at Kynos.  "Hey, I promised you a good time, right?  So how long can we leave that head down there?"  At the same time he is asking his newest friend a question as well.  **Hey, Cat.  Any ideas on getting rid of the nanite infestation on the commlink in the head?  Can you overpower what is there?**

@Athos Cat say... Nanites? I do not understand, do you think that man have nanites in his brain?

@All with the head and comlink safely placed underwater beyond matrix reception, you need to some way to take it out. A coat with Faraday pocket or a strong jammer are probobly going to do unless anyone of you can hack the comlink to stop the distress beacon.

When Kynos had once again donned his regular outfit - body armor under a trench coat - he turned to Athos and Minnie:
"So, did you call that mage that that elf suggested? We really need to get a perspective on the astral if we are up against another mage.
Enough that I was followed in the astral the last time I went home from a run. There could be any number of watchers around us, reporting back to that sucker.
We need that mojo slinger.

Also, does anyone have a jammer or a contact we could get one from? Mine just clammed up."

Athos responds to Cat.  **Yes I do.  There was evidence underwater that some sort of nanite solvent was eating the truck away and may have had some effect on the body of the man Kynos found.  The effect on the body might have been from natural causes but we do not wish to take a chance.  Any ideas on what to do if there are nanites?  We do not have a portable EMP device.  Would anything else work?**

To the others, Athos says, "I could ask Dave if he has a portable jammer or EMP device.  Let me call him.  Yulia, you are my go to person for mojo.  Any ideas?  Maybe we can ask Strawberry?"

Finally, he picks up his commlink and sends a note off to Dave.  >>Dave, this is Athos.  You helped us out with a little infestation issue yesterday.  Is there something portable we could borrow that would have the same effect.  And we are having a bit of trouble with a commlink.  Do you have a portable faraday cage?<<
