 See, that's all I needed. You don't need to change anything now that I know that  it was all purely IC.  I actually do enjoy a little bit of fictional friction, as counterpoint to all the "teamwork" stuff.  So just do whatever comes natural, I'm just glad I was misreading it.

Hey, just heard from Earlybird.  He is still interested in playing, but the game speed is a bit daunting.  I recommend that we slow down a bit and I seem to be the main cause.

trv - you're doing a great job and should totally keep it up. FWIW, Cal is going to take pretty serious exception with Calico's much more relaxed style and it's purely IC. It's probably pretty clear at this point, but his primary motivations here are to stay alive, get paid, and keep everyone else alive too. So he'll probably keep it under wraps as best he can. I truly don't want anyone to take offense though, and I'm really enjoying everyone's writing and genuinely hope you all keep it up.

Also, not much point in an IC post for me today, so I'll take a pass.

That's cool Mr. T, I can roll with that. Regarding poindexter/Earlybird,  I think it would be great if he came back, but I don't think anyone should have to put the brakes on their postings for anybody else.  Nor do I think he should be expected to post with the same regularity as anyone else. Jayde may have a different take, but my perspective is that as long as he's reading every day, posting if the group's waiting on him, and otherwise just posting every couple days to let us know he's still here, that seems entirely sufficient to me.

I'd hate to see anyone materially alter their posting regularity or style to suit somebody else.  That's a slippery slope.

Hey skulldixon, are you able to just go VR and zip over to the address that JC got?  If the two are there, seems like you could just hack their comms, and maybe download text history, call history, etc. Doable?

 :-\ I could do something like that but it more difficult due to jumping grids and such. Plus I would need their comm codes first so i know what I'm looking for. Through VR the matrix is to some extent overlaid with the real world thanks to AR. However, I would just see Matrix sculpting and ICONs, so knowing their faces wouldn't help. Same thing with a drone, it becomes more difficult the further away something is.

I could do that; I would automatically see any ICON in the area unless it's hidden. I would then have to analyse each one to see if it's a commlink, I think. It would take a long time depending on what's there. If it is an apartment building then it might be kind of a waste of time since I do the same thing in ar from the real world when we had over and see them.

True, but there's nothing stopping you running a matrix search for information on them before we leave. I just have a feeling you'll be somewhat better than me doing that  :)
