Seeing her ammo ticker blur asit counts down, it occurs to Forty to send a couple of words out via subvocal microphone:  "Stopping suppression

She just hopes that Harry is having more success with the enemy spirits than anyone seems to be having versus the mage.

If the mage moves into cover on his turn, the drone will use a free action to move / run to reduce cover prior to the actions below.  post will be updated to account for it.

VanGuard focuses the aiming reticule on the mage for what seems an eternity in VR, but it is just a few mere seconds in meatspace. He is watching the movement of the mage, timing his breathing pattern, and taking into account the odd behavior of the bullets as they have approached the mage.  He swears to himself that he will not miss again.  VanGuard shoots out the following message to the team...

>> Team [VanGuard]  Any of you that have any gas canisters or flashbangs, now is the time to use them.  This fragger needs to go down yesterday and we need to scram as quickly as possible, it is only a matter of time until the bad kind of trouble shows up.<<

This is turning into a real cluster frag... drek is about to really hit the fan here... not good.

Time ticks by in milliseconds as the team tries their best to maneuver on the mage.
That's just like... your opinion, man.

The Amerind turns his attention from the magical fracas, and Kachina can see that he's left the astral, allowing his spirit to fight on without him.  That removed him as a potential target from that plane, for her, but meant she and Forty's spirit could contend with the Amerind's bonded spirit alone.

That didn't bode as well for the rest of the team as the mage pointed both hands out, unleashing twin bolts of crackling electricity at both of the trolls.

The lightning strikes both of the big guys squarely.  Angus grunts and and ducks down, maneuvering slightly but seemingly non the worse for wear.

Kachina's Aura gathered mana energy to send back the Spirit to its plane. It was by far the less disturbing way to get rid of a Spirit, but this one was resilient and powerful; more than she should have chewed on. The feedback of magical energy was intense. It hurt. She felt her own Aura weakening.

The Shaman's unconscious body jolted on the seat of the Van. Like an invisible force was trying to possess her. It was brief and painful. Like being burnt from the inside. A thin streak of blood ran down on her cheek from one of her nostril.

The Amerindian had returned to the physical plane. She "stepped" back from the fray of the two Spirits fighting. Forty's spirit was strong but so was the bonded one.
She had to use all help that she could while hope her companions were faring ok against the Mage. At 4 against one the Odd were in their favor, but she knew it all too well, a powerful mage could quickly unbalance things.

She called upon the Spirit realms and summoned a Spirit of Man. There appeared a silhouette of a ancestral Indian Warrior.  She looked at the Enemy spirit and asked the newly formed entity: I beg you to fight for us and help us vanquish this powerful foe.

The Spirit joined the battle and so did Kachina. The Sooner the Spirit was down the sooner they could tackle on the Mage himself.

VanGuard's drone begins to fire on the mage, who grits his teeth.  Most of the bullets seem to impossibly fly wide, but a few actually connect.  The man looks behind him, perhaps scanning an escape route.

Forty paces closer to the motel, waiting for either a target, or signs that Harry has either won or lost the fight (as either way he’ll need replacing).

As Forty moves, she manages to slice the pie enough that she believes she has a shot on the Mage.  And bonus, in her mind, his attention seemed focused on the two trolls.

The moment that Forty sees the shot, she takes it.  She has doubts about how effective stick and shock will be, but if nothing else it should help distract him for the big guns, so she fires a quick burst and hopes for the best.

Forty pulls the trigger and the shots go wide.  The way it happens, she assumes that he must have some manner of shield up.

In the astral, Kachina watches as Harry pulls wide around the remaining spirit and then smashes into it, a kaleidoscope of magical energy splashing out from them.  Kachina is relatively certain that she migh tbe able to finish off the spirit quickly, then assist on the material.

Meanwhil, those who are still there (the material) get a notification from Ravener.  <<He's not leaving via his van, anyway.>>

Faint smoke still rising off of his jacket, Henway's lip curls as he levels the Ingram at the mage and opens up on full auto.  As the LMG chatters, he roars a challenge at the mage.  "Eat dis you fraggin' slot!  Yer puny lightnin' ain't enough ta stop dis troll!"

Every word of Henway's is punctuated by the staccato rat-a-tat of the machine gun.  He grins in satisfaction as at least a couple of the bullets seem to actually catch the Amerind, throwing him a few steps back.  The man snarls and takes a step forward, ready to unleash some sort of hell magic at the troll when a crossfire slaps into him from the side, taking the wind out of the saild of that idea.

<<Got your back, big guy>> comes VanGuard's message over text.

Angus smiles as he sees the mage distracted by the others. Dont' forget about me.  And proceeds to fill the air with lead.
