Mr. Black is a big fan of Trevor Kwan's Urban Golf Series. Not only do participants show up regularly to get in the way of Runs, it is also a good cover for checking out facilities one is going to hit. *flips up wireless goggles* "Sorry Mr. Security Guard, but I am sure I shanked my ball somewhere near this fence. Look, I got 50 NuYen riding on this hole." *points to the 3 guys behind him dressed in bad golf gear, goggles and haptic gloves/clubs* "Can I search for it just a little longer?" *pantomimes using gold club to search for a ball in the grass while wearing haptic gloves*
Not content to release yearly upgrades, Trevor Kwan's Urban Golf has the City Series, with courses downloadable for every major city. The Seattle Emerald Classic is a huge event, shutting down Downtown for an entire week each year, with thousands taking part. There is also a large fan base that creates their own "Hakk" 9- and 18-hole courses. The infamous Black TrebleSkull Hakk course that was rumored to run through Renraku Arcology just after the Shutdown was supposed to have cost hundreds of lives. And quite of few people have been jailed for the course that runs up the Dragon's Spine in Hong Kong. New York has a long suspected Cloud Scraper Challenge, with players hitting balls from the tops of New York's fabled skyline.
