Just a minor clarification on something in the original post (sorry, somehow I missed it before!
): On the subject of qualities, and only negative qualities, you actually can have more than 25 points worth. What you can't do is gain more than 25 points of karma from those negative qualities.
It was brought up in the past, and if I remember correctly had some very heated discussions on it, but it was confirmed that you could take every negative quality you qualified for if you
really wanted to, as long as you only gained a maximum of 25 points of karma from them. That is why Missions will let you take forbidden negative qualities for flavor/RP purposes, as long as you're not getting karma from them.
