Hoi Chummers,

I pre-ordered Hard Targets and Rigger 5.0 back in December/January timeframe and haven't received my hard copies yet. I pinged customer service about 3 weeks ago when I saw that my FLGS had these books. Is there time to wait or a phone number I can call?

Thanks!

you should hit up AJ carrington in the battleshop customer service thread.

TL:DR judging from other forum posts on the subject their customer service is non-existent & you're unlikely to get any response from them directly without AJ's help.

Even with AJ's help I have gotten no response or help trying to get my hard copy of Hard Targets or Rigger 5.0. It is pretty ridiculous. Good luck!

Never.

If you ordered through Paypal, put in a claim. Seriously, BattleCorps is a piece of crap site with zero customer service.

Does anyone know if ordering Battletech books from the website is having the same problems, or is it just the Shadowrun side of things?

Unfortunately, there are similar threads over in the BT forums as well.

IIRC When Catalyst went through the embezzlement scam/ fallout a few years back their webmaster quit and ever since then it looks like the web-site has not been updated and ordering direct from them has been haphazard at best.

Basically they just don't give a cr*p about customers, service or otherwise.

See multiple similar posts here and elsewhere re: ongoing editing fails and lack or errata.

Dang. I prefer to get my RPGs via my local store first, and then if they don't have it go through the game maker's website when possible. Looks like I will have to shop alternate avenues if there's something my local store doesn't have in.

Completely understand. I still get all my PDFs via BattleShop, but moved to other avenues for physical product (FGLS and online) a LONG time ago.

IIRC...

You recall incorrectly. The time between the webmaster leaving and the internal IMR issue was significant.
Power corrupts.
Absolute power is kinda neat.
