I've always been curious as to what people are playing out there. So, today, I did a bit of digging to get a (hopefully) representative census of an online communities characters. I went through Runnerhub's character list and got data from 2 pages worth of characters.

First, we have Archetypes:
Code: [Select]
Rigger 3
Face 10
Sammie 3
Techno 4
Skillwire 1
Mage 9
Infiltrator 5
CQC 4
Decker 3
Mysad 2
Ganger 1
General 2
Archer 1

Quite a few of the mages were also "faces" so, there is a bit of overlap there.

Races:
Code: [Select]
Human 28
Ork 4
Wakyambi 1
Elf 10
Troll 3
Dwarf 2

I expected to see more elves and orks, to be honest.

Lastly, Magical Traditions:
Code: [Select]
Psionics 1
Sioux 1
Shaman 2
Chaos 4
Judaism 1
Druid 1
Christian Theurgy 1
Aztech 1
Zoroastrianism 1

My guess? Chaos is likely a bit OP. :)

The Chaos Tradition is not all that powerful, no. 8)

The problem with defending the purity of the English language is that English is about as pure as a cribhouse whore. We don't just borrow words; on occasion, English has pursued other languages down alleyways to beat them unconscious and rifle their pockets for new vocabulary. - James. D. Nicoll
