Bud is quite pleased with the money.  "Spokane!  Good to see you and thanks a bunch for the finder's fee.  I will keep my ears open for more work.  Ivan is in the back and a woman tamed Tabitha, I think, came in for you yesterday.  Said she was in the area and wanted to see how you were doing.  I told her you were working and she seemed.............pleased.  At least I think so.  Anyway, she said to give her a call when you checked in.  Gave me a code and said to use that one instead of the normal one.  Between you and me, she sounded and looked a bit desperate."

Spokane's normal grin fades and he looks grave.  Tabitha Sturges?  Yeah give me the code.  He immediately attempts to contact her.

Doc?  You okay?  Whatcha need?

Jeremiah heads into the back, and motions for a waitress to bring him a drink and a refill for Ivan.  Rounds on me, he says coming around the table to hug the bear of a man.  Almost a head taller than Spokane, Ivan's shoulder length blonde hair, beard and build makes him look more like a norse god than a vory gun runner.

Sorry I gotta talk biz and run, but it seems I'm quite in demand at the moment.  I can stay for a drink or two but I got people waiting on me.  How's biz?

Ivan returns the hug, genuinely pleased to see you and his hug is just as tight as you recall.  "Sure, I am staying busy.  And busy for a gun guy means runners are busy, too.  Good business all around.  What sort of grenades you need for that antique of yours?  I got a couple different ones.  Give any thought to the LMG or the Incinerator.  I swear to you, that thing can really be a morale changer when its tongue of flame licks out.  Men ready to stand up to bullets will go running from liquid fire.  Of course, it does tend to make a general mess of any building you might be in."

Just flash-bangs.  I was a rancher not a soldier remember.  I know pistols and rifles I don't know much about machine guns and I'm more likely to light myself up with a flamethrower than someone else.  Jeremiah laughs.  If I need that kind of ordnance I'm probably screwed anyway.  Besides you know I don't much care for collateral damage.

Though I could probably use some form fitting body armor too if you have anything like that, I would imagine that would take some customization though.

When the waitress brings their drinks Jeremiah motions for a second round and raises his glass to Ivan vashe zdorovie knocking back his drink after the toast.

Got introduced to Steve, this hacker from the neighborhood over on my last job and we seemed to hit it off, spent the whole day after we finished locked in a hotel room.  Haven't thought of you know who since.  I will have to introduce you two when I get some down time.  I gotta say things are looking up for ole Spokane these days.

Do you know Tabitha well?  I think she might be in some trouble.  You wouldn't know anything would you?

As an after thought Spokane sends a message to Feather.  Hey Feather.  If you got any more info on that thing from the other day give me what ya got and I'll pay you for that.  It was basically just professional curiosity but I'm pretty flush with work so no need to dig any further.  Thanks again.

Ivan looks confused.  "A guy named Steve?  You pulling my leg, Spokane?  I thought that you were firmly into slotting women.  Hey, not that I would judge you any differently for it.  Some of my other customers are that way, too.  I make it a strict policy to not care about things like that in my line of work.  And, yeah, the armor would need to be customized for you if you want it to work right.  And I do not really deal, you understand, but I do happen to have a professional relationship with a guy that does.  I can arrange a link up if you are really interested.  Hmmm.  Tabitha?  No, can't say as I know her well.  Know who she is, of course, and you talk about her all the time.  I once thought you were having a thing with her, you know, but I can see the error of that now that I know you are into guys."

>>Jeremiah.  Need to see you if possible.  Can you meet me at Monica's?  You know, the strip club just down from the clinic.  See Monica and ask for Gabby.  Best time is about midnight or so.  It would help if you could bring a friend or two.  Don't know who else to ask.<<

>>Hey, Spokane.  Not much more, but one of the shooters has popped up on the system.  Gordy Valens was found in an alley not too far from Mercy General.  Punk used to run with the Wild Riders, but got left for some reason, at least they are all saying he left.  Apparently went full-time merc for some guy unknown.  KE not saying anything, but I got sources.  You owe me another two hundred.  let me know when you want me to pick up on this again.<<

Jeremiah laughs I call her Stephanie in the throes of passion.  She's an Amazon from the neighborhood over.  They have these gender bender handles.  Jeremiah shakes his head, chuckling.  You should see the look on your face...priceless.

Never had a thing for Tabitha, I mean she may be a bit of a cougar but I was her patient.  We are more than just professional acquaintances though I would call her a friend.  Keep your ear to the ground for me.

So how soon can you get me those grenades?  I could say 30, that should keep me in stock for a while.

Oh, I just got a message from her.  She wants to meet and bring friends.  I don't suppose you want to come.  I don't know if Ricky would too welcome here, though I suppose I could give Laughing Dog a call.  If you come we kill three birds with one stone.  You can bring the grenades, meet Steve and be your imposing self.

>>>Sure, doc.  I'll be there.<<<

>>>Hey Steve, I have a friend in a jam and we need to meet her, about midnight, at Monica's.  What's the word on Mike's friend?

After shooting the bull for a few more minutes Spokane toasts their second round Na pososhok! tossing back his second shot.  I must go my friend.  I look forward to see you again.

After saying his good byes to Ivan and Bud he pays his tab and heads to Steve's place to meet with Mike if needed and make plans on how to handle the jobs.

If Ivan can't come Jeremiah will make the same offer to Laughing Dog.
Also could you post the date and time I've kinda lost track.

Ivan holds up his hands.  "Sorry, lad.  I know you, but I only know the doc by name.  What have I got to get involved with that for?  I think I should sit it out.  Strictly neutral, no?  I got the grenades out back in the van, if you want 'em.  Come on back."

>>I am so glad to hear from you.  Got a couple things sorted with Mike.  Monica's?  When?  You know I'll be there.  When?  You swinging by here on the way?<<

Sure.  how much do I owe ya?  Once the deal is complete Spokane heads to Steve's to get the low down on Mikes problem.

He links her on the way, >>>heading there now.  you can give me the sit rep on Mikes problem when I get there<<<

>>>Laughing Dog.  Spokane.  Hey I have an issue with a friend seems like trouble and she suggested I bring a few friends.  If there's money involved I'll give you a cut if there isn't and we need your services I'll pay out of pocket.  Can you meet me at Monica's around midnight?

Ivan takes you out the back to his rolling store house.  His two assistants are sharing guard duty and nod at you as you step into the van.  The grenades are running 115Y and the flash-paks for 150Y.  He has a good stock of both.

>>Hiya, Spokane.  You know I am always up for a scrap.  See you there.  Thanks for thinking of me.<<

>>Hey.  Looking forward to seeing you.  I miss you already.  Attached is a map with the route to my place.  See you in a bit.  Already alerted Mike you would be passing into the neighborhood.<<

I'll take 30 flashbangs concussion grenades not the flash packs.  Spokane pays him 3450. I'll bring Steve by to introduce her to everyone.  Take care my friend.

Great, hopefully it won't be a big deal but it will be nice to have someone watch my back, I'll introduce you to me new gal too.

At Steve's Jeremiah greets her with a slow lingering kiss, then reluctantly backs backs off.  Okay we have a delivery downtown over the next couple of days, we need to me my friend Doc Sturges at midnight.  I'll introduce you to her and my friend Laughing Dog when we get there.  Tell me what Mike needs...or should we go see her?

Oh, can you fight, use a gun, or are you just a console cowgirl?

Steve's place is quite small, barely counting as an efficiency.  The kitchen mostly consists of a cheap soy processor and a caffpot and is pretty much part of the living room.  The bedroom is also part of the room, but is separated from the rest by a beaded curtain.  Most of the living space is taken up with a long work bench that is covered in parts to one thing or another although the tools seem to be well organized.

Steve matches your kiss and grimaces a bit when you back off.  "Sorry.  Strictly console cowgirl here.  But not all is lost.  The console includes a small array of sensor drones and a couple of nicely armed rotos.  Plus I have friends.  Two are coming over now and should be here in a couple of minutes.  They are dying to meet you.  So do you want to tell me about the Doc's problem or wait until they arrive?"

I think my flat may have been designed by the same one who did yours.  Though you may have a few more square feet he Iaughs.

I dont know what she needs she just wanted to meet.  Shes taking a lot of precautions to ensure secrecy and suggest I bring friends.

What about Mike? Did she tell you what she needs or do we need to go meet her.  Otherwise we have some time for make outs until your friends show up...or you can show me around the computer stuff.  I really am interested.  I wasnt just trying to get in you pants.

Steve shrugs.  "Mike needs some medicines picked up and delivered.  We're a bit short handed here now, what with expanding into the next territory after the other night.  She can spare one rider, but the job should be for two.  That is where you come in.  You and me, I guess."  She bends over slightly, just enough to stretch her pants against her shapely butt. and looks over her shoulder at you.  "As for getting into my pants, you can do that just about any time you like."  She walks through the beaded curtain, headed for the bed.  Her shirt hits the floor and her hands deftly flick open the clasp on her bra and she lets it fall to the floor with the shirt.  Without looking back at you, she begins removing her pants, showing you her ass.  "They could be an hour or ten minutes.  Are you willing to take a chance?"  Finally slipping her panties off, she lifts the thin blanket on the bed and slips under it, holding it up for you to join her if you should desire to.

I'm always up for a challenge,  He says, quickly removing his clothes.  He crawls under the sheets kissing her calves moving slowly up, playfully nibbling her inner thigh, then pays attention to her most sensitive parts until she makes him stop.

Yeah, right.  She does nothing to stop you right away and after a while is screaming your name as she bucks her hips into your face in spasms of delight and emotional release.  "Oh God!   Jeremiah, you are amazing!  Where have you been hiding my whole life?  OK, my turn.  You just lay back and I will see if I can return the favor."  You flip over and she manages to keep her eyes on your face long enough to kiss you several times.  Then she begins kissing your neck and chest as she slides down your body.  You are completely aroused and she kisses your thighs before paying attention to her real target.  You lose track of how many times she brings you close to the edge and backs off.

In your state, you are barely aware that at some point you have company.  It is like the two additional women have just appeared out of thin air to stand at the side of the bed as they watch the two of you.and they might be just your imagination but one says, "You hooked a good one, Steve.  Are you in a sharing mood?"

Steve pulls her very talented mouth away from you and looks at your face.  "That defends on the man.  Spokane, this is Phil and Al.  Would you mind terribly if they joined us?"
