Very exciting news!
Hey guys I just got a notice from DriveThru RPG that the Street Grimoire had an updated version and lo and behold here it is, the second printing, complete with new artwork on the cover.

I haven't looked thru it at all so see the changes, but I wanted to put the word out to help get more eyes on to evaluate.

Somebody should fire this over to reddit, I don't visit there, but I know they're good peeps.

I just downloaded the updated PDF from Battlecorps. It has the new cover, but does not incorporate any of the errata, as far as I can tell. Disappointing.

There are lots of little changes judging by my Mark I eyeball scan, but most are so minor you literally have to go page to page between on and the other. I tried a PDF comparison tool and it came up empty, so I'm waiting for official release of the changes, as hinted at by Patrick in another thread.

Ditto, for the same reasons:

If the drain value changes (the most obvious, first thing that everyone knew was wrong) aren't in this printing, then What was the fucking point?!?

I got the update for free (because I actually bought it online, worst purchase ever) and I still feel ripped off.  I don't know how you do that.

Wow, that's disappointing.

A 2nd printing is usually done, not because you got a lot of stuff to fix, but because you ran out of physical books to sell, so you start a new printing run. Guess that's what happened here. Just hope that the actual Errata team they're putting together doesn't get ignored like this...

But they changed some things.  So obviously there was room to change more.  Drain codes, in particular, would have required no new formatting.

This was the the most messed up book.  To do a second printing without fixing those mistakes is just plain irresponsible.

It just doesn't make any sense.

What does that mean, AJ?

It means the FNG probably fragged up.

This kind of thing has been happening for so long that the FNG isn't really new anymore, though, so...

If the second printings are gonna just be a new cover then.....can we ask for a new cover for data trails now? Pretty please? I bought the special edition just to no having to see that...."thing" every time i open the book.

@Novocrane - It means that the errata should have been incorporated into the reprint.
