Ah yes catalyst's usual high standard of editing, this is part of why I'm not buying any more books from them. Although I know have the image of a smart toilet with matrix connections and AR for the potty training of young children.

IMHO, this now deserves an artists rendering of such a device. Possibly for a future adventure or book.
Heck I might even put it in an adventure I create now.

As far as the "high standards" jab, I really can't agree with you. I've seen worse editing by metric crap ton loads from larger gaming companies who have raked in more cash and had more full-time staff than CGL. WotC, in their 3.x/4e days. White Wolf in their OWoD days. Edit to add: WotC isn't really that much better with editing now than they were then. They have fewer, prettier books though.

The commode thing just makes me laugh. Your/you're and their/there and could have/could of don't seem to come up as much as some books I've read through lately and that leaves me much less holding my breath and turning green than I might otherwise be, and I'm at least grateful for that much.

What I will agree with is production of errata to fix those errors that come up is rather lacking

Btw, I've been toying with putting together Matrix cards with Magic Set Editor. And I want to make a "Knows Your Commode" card sooo badly. I'll share if I ever finish that project.

Actually the spelling errors don't bother me although I can see them possibly being a problem for people with english as a second language. What I was referring to was more the fact that they have a lot of occasions where the books reference things that were cut or might be included in a future expansion such as the mention of rituals in the street grimoire that are supposed to be on later pages but aren't or (according to the reveiws I've seen) in howling shadows modifers to a base pets costs table that was cut. Whatever the reason if you remove that base table you shouldn't leave in things that refer to it . Especially in a rules heavy game like this that's not a good thing for someone who is new to it.
