Smuggler is more of a backstory than a role. I know it is an archetype in the core book, but archetypes don't really mean as much as what role you want to fill on your team. At the most basic there are maybe four "roles" - Muscle (combat/physical threats), Matrix (handling matrix/tech related issues), Magic (handling astral issues/threats), and "Mind Games" (dealing with social/relational issues, aka a face). You could add wheelman (handles things when on the move) and infiltrator (handles quiet ops), but I think they complicate the basics.
Ex. Muscle/Combat is a "role," but it can be filled by different archetypes like: gunslinger adept, brawler adept, a cybered up street sam, a combat magician, a machine-sprite assisted technomancer sharpshooter, a rigger with combat drones, a gun-toting smuggler, etc.
I can pick a different role like Matrix specialist and see similar archetypes fill the bill: VR adept decker (uses adept powers to boost decking dice), AR adept decker (uses physical adept powers to direct connect access to devices), a decker-samurai (lots of cyberlimbs and high logic), an alchemist decker (using alchemy to boost Logic/Intuition when decking), a smuggler who uses technomancy to fool security checkpoints and help pilot, etc.
Smuggler is on the archetype side, but I don't think you have clarified your "role" on your team.
A smuggler can be -
Muscle: People entrust some valuable merchandise to him and he doesn't give it up without a fight, or even better, look intimidating enough to scare off people from trying.
Matrix: Checkpoints, border crossings, scanners, etc. don't get in the way of this smuggler's goods getting to where they need. Can steal that digital payload while she's at it, and knows how to keep it safe.
Magic: "Ever try to out run a spirit? If you can answer me, then no. When magical security is on your tail or blocking your path, it can take magic to break magic. Just try to find my goods when my mojo is protecting them."
Mind Games:"Big guns, fancy decks, and spellslinging? Anyone ever try a big smile, a fancy suit, and credstick slinging? This job is about moving people as much as it is about moving goods."
These little blurbs represent people who take on different roles on a shadowrunning team. If they can't fill a role, than they aren't going to be hired. However, each one of them can call themselves a smuggler.
Looking at your character, I am not sure what it is trying to be good at.
