Honestly, Rickrolling didn't occur to me until hours later. And it's kinda overplayed by this point anyway.
Seriously, this was very spur of the moment. I had the idea for this about 3 AM and started jotting down ideas and had planned to just record solo. Wasn't happy with some of my list, so pinged Kevin for some more, since I know he's up all night too. We decided to tag team the recording real quick, and were done by like 4 AM. I spent a couple hours doing some quick audio editing, whipped up the background, and spent most of those 2 hours encoding, compressing, and uploading to YouTube (aka, I watched a couple TV shows while my computer did all the work).
It's stupid and goofy, but hopefully was fun. I personally love April Fools stuff, espeically when it's obvious that it's an April Fools joke.
