Both physical and stun boxes can be removed with with edge.  Is there a limit beyond the amount of edge in your pool to this spend?  Possible to just routinely build and spend edge to heal to full?

Sure this falls under the edge abuses and gm fiat mentioned in edge section.  But then how do you rule it, only when damage is taken, once per encounter only usable in the encounter which damage occurred?

Hmmm... sounds like you don’t like the idea of attacking civilians until you are fully healed.

I prefer for my rigger to do doughnuts in the parking lot. Besides use a knife and cut yourself if you have enough body to soak 2.

Farming Edge solely to heal would be Edge Abuse. But using Edge generated in an actual encounter for this instead of other purposes sounds like a valid tactical choice.

Yeah...given the cost and how edge actually takes effort to build up, totally fine. Especially considering the other uses for Edge your not taking by doing so.

Yes, so long as the GM is preventing Edge Abuse (see pg. 45) there's quite the steep opportunity cost involved in healing via Edge.

I'd recommend at least trying it out in play with it the way it is before house-ruling limitations on top of that.
RPG mechanics exist to give structure and consistency to the game world, true, but at the end of the day, you’re fighting dragons with algebra and random number generators.

+1 karma

I get folks points about it not appearing as major issue, but when I read these rules i hear the distant creak of gears in my players minds.

Which is why the Edge Abuse section exists.  ;D
