I plan to be a writer. To that end, I am studying English and general linguistics as well as critical thinking in college. Arc goes to the same college as I do.

Hey ARC good luck with your degree.  I have a BA in Social Behavioral.  Of course to make money I had to get my Master of Library Science.

Thanks man.  I really appreciate that.  I'm taking a philosophy class this term and with working a full time job in CorpSec at a Tacoma Hospital (not mentioned in the Seattle 2070 book).  It's a lot harder than you would think.

It's not that it contains much.  It's only Philosophy 115 Critical Thinking.  It's a combination of English 103, Philosophy 115, and Survey of Ecology.  In all it's a total of 40 pages of essays, 2 research papers and a boat load of notes.  On top of working a 40 hour a week job at the Largest Hospital in Tacoma (but it still gets left out of the Seattle 2070 book, think we can correct that Catalyst Labs?)  My schedule runs from 9 pm when I wake up 10 pm I start work, then go to class immedately to class, then get home at 2 pm and hopefully sleep.

Ah - Critical Thinking - I vaguely remember taking that back when I was a first year student (was that really 21 years ago?)...

Yeah working full time and going to school can be a drag.  I did that for my first masters and I am doing it again for my second.  Hang in there it is all worth it in the end.

If I had gone to college right out of High school it would be a lot easier, back in '98 everything was easier.

Critical Thinking was a fun class when I took it in 2006. Public Speaking not so much.

One thing is for sure, it is definately interesting.  Had a great conversation the first day I wore my favorite shirt.  It says "Happiness is a Mushroom Cloud," on the back it has a mushroom cloud with a smiley face saying "Give War A Chance."

That sounds fallacious to me. ;)

snicker. Make Money and MLS do not belong in the same sentence.

Don't screw with Librarians, they control knowledge.

Think about it.  ;D

Honestly, a set of "How To" books written for the common person and an "Adult Literacy" book are probably the best things you can have stored away or bring out of your vault...
