Fractal puts the syringe on the floor, takes Eric heads on his hands and looks at him grinning:
"Dear, you will just hurt yourself; you won't accomplish anything if I puncture the wrong spot: I will just do it again and again until it works. And you will just have some gash across your throat. Your uncooperative behavior is being noticed, but since I'm a real nice guy - the way Fractal says it is quite frightening - I will teach you some things about the process of torturing."
He raises again, and with a professorial pose starts lecturing:
"Torture rule number one: a good pain giver will have the answers he wants, while a bad one will kill his info broker. In any case, the victim loses.
Torture rule number two: Braver man fights longer, and, as such, suffer more. But the final result is just the same, it just takes more time.
Torture rule number three: If you are the one tortured, you are not a metahuman being anymore in the ways of your torturer. So there's no use in trying to appeal to his consciousness or pride. Who has ever listened to the cries of a flea?
Torture number four: It's in the victims power to determine how much he will suffer. "
He takes back the syringe and goes for his neck again, holding it with the free hand:
"Now be a dear and cooperate. We have all the time we want, and more time just means more fun."
