Arcane arresters only affects force based states like the damage of a combat spell so if hit by a force 4 manabolt you would resist 2dv instead of 4 the caster still gets to add hits to this however. The resistance of illusion spells like invisibility is based on the hits I make not the force of the spell so it is not a force based effect. Or at least that is how I interpreted the rule. Others may have a different opinion.

Ah, yeah.  Force-based Effects rather than effective force.  Makes sense. The example given in the book is really crap though.

BTW, Chrona, I'd think that somebody already walking out would hurt the guy's position for negotiations, not help it.

If he really doesn't care that he's coming across as a complete dick, he might see one guy walking out on his team as a weakness on our part; not being "united" against him.

Forgot composure for the insult... well, actually was acting like Silk already didn't really appreciate it much. Composure from insult. (13d6.hits(5)=2) So yeah, that's about right. Won't go overboard, won't like it much neither.

I was located right where Habu parked so I would have moved down a bit away from Dowd street, along mikes pawnshop. I don't know the specifics of the job yet so I will limit my search for cameras to the area where Habu was parked and Dowd street minus the crowd and the bouncers themselves, I will assume that someone in that group will have eyeware and thus a recording unit for now.

That's cool, I don't want to throw a monkey into your wrench, I'll just adjust his play style. make him less paranoid. It will be a kind of disjointed story but if that's what you want, I have no problem to make the game run smoother. I truly did not intend to cause a problem player type situation it is just not a style I am used to, so I will adjust and continue.

You don't have to drastically alter him suddenly, you can change him over time, you can roleplay his paranoia waning after joining a dependable team
