They were last in Angela's possession, but she was trying to get them to someone who could have cracked them.  She thought that person might have been Chrona, but apparently it was Space who Chrona hired.  I guess if Space is headed downtown, and so is Angela, she could hand them over.


By the way, you'd have to pay extra for an unrestricted agent.  They cost 1.2x as much, and are totally worth it.  A regular agent can't do anything illegal.  Also, if they're mooked you can spoof their IDs with the Logic + Software (Rating x 3, 1 week) Extended Test to make copies that can operate on the same node at the same time.

1) Space can look for some PayData in those two links and use them as contact links in case the bots find something during the data search. One remains with Habu, one with Space.

Well, you can crack an agent to make it unrestricted.

1) Are there any freeware browse agents?
2)If I would have some piracy programs:
a]Would I have to pay for the patches (10% of the street price)
b]Would I have to roll the DataSearch-Browse for all programs seperatly
c]Does the knowledge skill 'PTP networks' reduce the threshold for finding the pirate networks, give a dice mod.?

There aren't freeware... anything, really to my knowledge

There can be a couple of solutions to this:
1) non-hacking programs (analyse, browse,...) can be legal.  It doesn't really matter as you can't do many illegal actions with them anyway.  That leaves the hacking programs, and I assume some of them can be legal as well (biofeedback filter and such, as you only run them for yourself)
2) you can pay the karma to get a new contact: a hacker group.  As long as you have enough members, everybody can patch up one program each month and you simply give each other the patches.  That means you only have to do one and since the difficulty is (logic+software, difference in rating, 1 week), it means you need 1 hit and 1 week of time if you do it each month.  That hit you can probably buy and if we have enough downtime between runs, you have the time as well.  Now you just need 20 something buddies to share the burden with.

No, but Space can either talk to Silk , Noise or Hank (assuming Andromeda is driving the car), which leads very directly to 'talk to the face'.
