@ team. The time of death would be a few hours after Kiku was dropped off at the apartment the night she disappeared. He had tattooing that covered most of his upper torso and and upper arms. He would have been in his early 30's. He had no cyberware. It was a he. Damage is conducive of a fast accelerated fire, probably magical in nature. He also has fractures and breaks that would be conducive of a fall from the balcony into the living room. His sperm count is currently low. He just recently had a meal of Pork, probably Don Katsu. There are some glass fragments in his back, probably from the fall through the glass balcony. He has several abrasions that would be conducive of being drug up the stairs after the fall and burning. He was not dressed and you notice a set of clothes that are well and fashionable laying off to the side of the bed.

<@Nina> It may not be necessary. If Nadir can get any kind of reading in the apartment, I'd like to find out who lit up Kiku's penthouse and get answers from them.

Operator pulled up Muzvel's icon on his glasses, releasing his hand from the throttle to 'tap' in a text message.
<@Muzvel> <<I may have need of transportation for a party of 5-6 to and from Denver. How soon could you make it happen, and how much would it cost?>>

@OP: Well our goal is not to find out what happened there, but to find Kiku. I really dont care who fried that Yak in the penthouse, and if I meet them, I may applaud them for it...With the possibility taken into account, that Kiku is responsible for his leave...intentionaly or spontaneously using magic. From what our contacts told us, our target moved to Denver, that is confirmed from multiple angles, and I want to know how she spended her last minutes in Emerald, before I buy the tickets to Ghostdancers backyard. She is professional, so it is not very likely she left a trace in the cab, well the driver was the last person she possibly spoked with here and she was probably quite disturbed, so even a small chance is still a chance...I know she ended up in CAS sector, we maybe focus on her possible previous CAS contacts. IMO another visit to the fixer maybe also usefull.

@Team: According to traces the body belongs to another yak, IMO this is just Nobody in our search. Since we are not solving their inner politics sheme, lets find the girl. If you get out of there, I may send an echo to my friend at arms, so he can discover the crimescene, cover traces left by you and keep us updated on forensic findings, if there is something else interresting we missed. Better him than that guard, who saw your entrance and may count to 2...

<@team> Well, our Nobody left his drawers on the floor.  That makes him a somebody to Kiko.  If Dragon-lady was running off for good, knowing something about her little Fried Dumpling here might tell us why she picked Denver for her destination, as well as where to start looking when we arrive there.  On that note, what does anyone here know about Denver besides the fact that it's a good place to hide out from Aztechnology?

Nadir pretends to not smell the area as he reads the astral. He looks for any signatures or any signs of spellcasting, as well as anything Kiku may have had an attachment to.

<@team>I don't know much about Denver, other than what Nadir just said. Really pissed dragon makes the rules now after Aztechnology got it's ass kicked out. If we have to find her there it might be worse than trying to find her in the CAS considering the amount of different interested parties in territory.

<@team>I could reach out to the Denver Nexus and see if I could find a reliable local guide?  Could be worth the creds.

Satisfied with the forensic analysis, Brian bagged the paring knife he'd used to scrape a DNA sample, and started to get out of the tainted apartment, first using his radar to make sure the hallway was clear.

@Op
muzzle picks up the com and sounds a bit distressed, he listens to your request before answering. I am going to assume you wish to get there without any complications, I just happen to know a couple of t-bird pilots that would be willing to take on extra cargo as long as it is a quite group. He usually charges around 250 a head.

Looking around e appartment in astral is no easy task the background is jumbled with mana, as if rituals had been taking place here for years. You find several trace of spells that may have been cast and from the signatures you can also duduse there origins. Most of the spells where of the elemental viriaty and the forces at which they where cast are sporadic and random. Youv'e never seen the signature before but one thing is for certain all the spells originated from a person in this apartment and there signature changed slightly during the course of events almost like the subtle shifts in e signature after initiation.

I can try to call one woman from Carnage ranch. She is kind of specialist for hydroponic planting, and she had been travelling a lot before she came to carnage for this seasson. Maybe she may be helpfull.

@Contact: Nomad: Salut ma fille, ça va? Yeah I know its fuckin late. Sorry for disturbance, you got a drink on me when I got home. How was the day? What about grandpa, did he done something silly or was he OK. Ive tried to arranged everything before my leave well you never know, so Im just checkin. Say hallo to others at the bar. And keep you hands off Michael, that  joli garçon is all mine ;)
Listen, before you came to the Carnation, you`ve been working on farms and ranches all across the land, haven`t you? Seems like I need to make a trip to Denver, CAS sector, looking for someone. Did you ever been there? Have some contacts in there that may be helpfull for my task?

<@Muzvel> That's a reasonable offer, I'll discuss it with my colleagues. Also, what weight limit does he observe for carry-ons?
<@BB> If you've got the bandwidth for a trace, I need to milk information out of the cabbie who gave Kiku her last ride. [Cab access ID#]

"You make a good argument, and the mana trail begins and ends in Kiku's penthouse. Let's go hunt for that cab." Operator flashed a grin at his passenger, revving the bike throttle and rejoining the traffic flow. His voice carried an oddly cheerful tone, owing heavily to the fact that he wasn't onsite to see the mess.

<@Team> Muzvel knows a wingman who can get us into Denver for around 250 a head.

@contact:nomadLet me tell you ma soeur Im beginning to have a feeling that our pettite Michael spent his whole life walking around making girls wet twice...their panties at the beginning, their eyes when he got enought. Good to know it before that second part came. Ill deal with him later, for now, if you need some gentle touch, use him the way you like it. And thank you for a walker. Ill pay it back to you. Good night.

Ahh les hommes!!!...Ah...sorry Operator, no offense,. I didnt mean to say that loud. Looks like I got a guide in Denver, kind of local smuggler or something, good to begin with. And It seems I have one cute ass to skin when we got home...

Muzzle to Opperator
Personal gear only, vehicles will be extra as it eats into his cargo room. You could probably bring a bike with you but it will cost another seat more than likely. Passengers are just extra fare on a regular trip for him but they do add complications so he charges. vehicles eat into valuable cargo space and that is where he makes his real money.

"Well, that was an informative bit of snooping.  My corrupt timer should take care of the digital logs.  Let's get the frag out of here before the maintenance bot shows up."

<@Nadir> Can you watch for astral tails once we hit the open air?  All this mojo makes me nervous.

Brian headed out of the apartment toward the elevator.

<@team> We got a time frame to catch this flight?  I was thinking about sending words to some friends to see if they've got anything that needs moving to or from Denver.  Might be able to finance the trip if we're lucky.

@team subvocal>>"Sounds good to me. I have a few calls I need to make myself before we follow this trail." Slip waits for the others to gather at the doorway before leading them down the hall and back to the elevator.
