I was in the process of settling my tab...being he seems a little embarrassed ...uh...a little distracted by the...uh...special features of some of the waitresses. He seems to regain some composure I stumbled into their communications node by mistake and overheard the meet request Miguel sent to you. I was in the process of cleaning up my datatrail when grabbed by the bouncer at the door. At that point, I had to ensure the tab was settled...hoping they wouldn't noticed the com node hack until after I had left and/or could finish cleaning up the datatrail.

On the way to see Don...Miguel stopped breifly and mumbled something about the com node. So they locked me in a room, while they did something, probably a trace. While there in the room, I figured I had better get some sort of intel on this LuCom business as a bargaining chip for me skin.

Sam could not put a point on it, but something in this story seemed off. Maybe too many coincidences, maybe the way this "Mouse" talked about being taken by the mafia, maybe something else.

My interest in the job is survival. I'm a kid who is out on his own--like so many of us--I don't have much say in what I "want to be when I grow up." I'm not old enough to be legally hired by any corp or govt entity despite my skill--I've tried that already and legal doesn't want to have to deal with the corporate court on the issue. Then there's the gangs...considering the mortality rate based on statistics I've acquired between law enforcement and gang-to-gang shootouts, I have just as good of chance of survival on my own. That wasn't even factoring in that most were constantly on drugs as well as selling them. Nice future isn't, but I'm sure you are already familiar with this scenario.

So far, I've been hacking out a meager life for myself on my own. Now I have a chance to earn some real cheddar for a change. Perhaps even for a team who might come to appreciate my skills.

I know I don't look like much on the outside, but in the Matrix, physical abilities and age don't mean squat. It's all about what's up here... pointing to his head. and that evens the playing field.
I think for a moment. I honestly don't know whether or not I have what it takes to be a runner, but I do know that I'm a better-than-average hacker.

The latter part is bull, I haven't logged there in months. Cops took my commlink and the access_id match, I must have been spoofed but I have a criminal record for hacking and it doesn’t help me.

Sam talked in a smooth and soothing voice not to spook the man any more, it was visible that he was at the brink of a nerve breakdown, he defiantly needed some kind of aim toward what he could reorganize his life.

Sam knew Bringing in her died Lover could push him over the brink, but on the other hand, a mind like deans should never work like a shotgun with no structure, it should be more spreadsheet based, clear structure, the way he makes good SIN's, not just by coincidence.

I lean over to unca Omar...I suggest requesting a look at the evidence against our client. I also find it odd that they magically pull his access I'd just before the node crashes. That would be extreme coincidence.

I brought her some flowers and pasta. She said she will be staying late - some conference of the Board. I thought I brighten her evening. And then I got back to myself to do some work.

I was playing a switchboard game. Vort had been smuggling something into the city. I hacked their commlinks and made sure their talks were carbon copied on the police bands. Childish I know but fun. Especially when you look at them from the grid visualisation.

And then they came to me. Building owner opened the door for them. The entire squad pinned me down to the floor. That's all.
