Turning to Unca Omar...
Unca Omar??? I've been replaying that camera feed from Red Wire looking from some sort of anomaly, such as tampering or magic; but, found none. Ya know there are numerous blogs about using the technology of Sim Sense as a brain washing tool. One of the things that BTL simulations do is disable motor control to prevent people from accidentally lashing out because they are responding to the BTL simulation. What if both guards were under the influence of such a BTL that resumes that motor control prematurely? Maybe the one in Alice's com link is such a BTL?

That's actually the feature of VR browsing not the BTL one (thought BTL requires to go into VR to enjoy).
However judging from the Sam's observation, it looks like this precaution measure is turned off by the BTL software, as the junkies were most certainly able to to move around while BTLing, unless of course they were simply using their AR to pink-up their life view.

The debilitation caused by BTL typically requires to increase the signal strength with time, so this would be highly unlikely.
The best way to check this out would be to jack into the commlink again directly this time and see if you could move. Alternatively Logic + Software(6, 1 hour) test to analyze the code.

On the scanner display you can see a desktop computer on a table in the central place of the single room. There are 6 metahumans inside around the walls.

Even that none of the junkies reacted to the Sam's quiet entrance it seems he has been spotted.
There’s a computer in this building and it interacts with you through the AR program. Somehow it gets on top of the spam that you receive.

Via the AR you have the option to download yourself simsense file, most probably a BTL and a selection of agents. They scurry around on the commlink’s AR environment like a cute little pet and take simple commands.

Each one has specific loaded program(s). Rabbit (Browse, Analyze), Squirrel (Spoof, Sniff), Raccoon (Exploit, Stealth), Bear (Attack).

They all have a pilot rating of 4 with program rating of 3.

Chipheads are zoned out in various states. Some are petting their virtual rabbits. One man is face down on a mattress, oblivious to the rest of the world. Those that managed to notice you don’t take any actions against you - just stare.

I would probably start by analyzing the code after the last incident, assuming that Sam and Ryker let Mouse have the com link.

Some Qus:
1) is it possible for me to switch to AR only? I believe that w/o glasses I am hot sim all the time I'm connected.
2) Would it be possible to create a complex form that will block BTL (or this Sim Sense) feed so that I don't get caught...again.

In any case, before we turn the com link back on we will need to change the access id. Of which I can buy 2 hits to start working on.

1. yes you can operate in that retro way. The commlink is actually a pair of glasses
2. not easily. you'd need to edit the code to lower it's rating program and thus to lower it's resistance treshold, but that would take weeks probably, specially that you don't have the source code, you can analyze the code based on the compiled code. but changing it is an entirelly differenet matter, you don't want to have a buggy BTL code. that could fry your brain.

you can change the ID. Omar probably has the required tools in the van.
